Stunning location and grounds! Amazing food and spa facilities. Service could be improved.

Food was amazing with an abundance of choices. Bar service was great!
The entire place is picture perfect.

Cons:

Service could be better. Restaurant staff weren’t overly attentive and it was hard to know who our server was.
Main restaurant would not sit us in the nicer area because we weren’t on the “dinner plan”- even though we were eating there- seemed odd
Small charges were annoying. We needed to stay until 2pm instead of 12 pm because our transfer was arriving.
They charged us an extra 30 E pp.
Staff was quite rude about it even though we were planning on having lunch at facility. They could have shuttle services for guests. They charged us 70E to use a van for 3 hrs. Our tour ran late and they increased our charge to a full day.

Colazione meravigliosa con tutto quello che si può desiderare e la possibilità di ordinare anche da un menu , cucinata al momento ; stanza della colazione con una bellissima vista sulla campagna toscana . Piscine bellissime una termale con tanti idromassaggi e una per il nuoto libero molto grande ; palestra stupenda , insegnante yoga molto gentile e preparata ; spuntini , tisane e acque aromatizzate a disposizione tutto
Il giorno ; gentilissimo il personale , mi hanno permesso di usufruire dello spazio piscina prima di prendere possesso della camera e oltre il check out . Posizione stupenda nel cuore della val d’Orcia

Il prezzo è un po’ alto , potrebbero ogni tanto fare qualche offerta magari nei periodi per loro di minore afflusso

Great stay
Pros:

Overall, a very luxurious and peaceful stay.
The hotel itself is exceptionally quiet, and our room was lovely-cool, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in in a long time, and I genuinely had some of the best sleep I’ve had in ages.
The spa facilities are extensive, with a wide range of saunas and wellness experiences. The thermal pools were a highlight, beautifully maintained and consistently calm, with no issue finding a sun lounger.
Food was also very good. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice, and we had lunch a couple of times which was good value and enjoyable.
Staff throughout were friendly, professional, and attentive.
That said, the stay was undeniably expensive, and I’m not entirely sure it represented great value for money overall.
The spa treatments, in particular, felt a little underwhelming. My massage was fine, but there was no real consultation beforehand (no discussion of pressure preference, focus areas, or injuries). After the treatment, I also felt a lack of privacy - blinds were raised while I was still getting up and people could see into the room.
I also had a trichology consultation, which unfortunately didn’t offer any new insights, and they were unable to print or provide me with a copy of the report afterwards, which was disappointing.

Alcuni dettagli non perfetti
I vetri delle ante che si aprono e chiudono della piscina calda e separano interno da esterno sono tutti incrostatindal calcare segno che da mesi on erano puliti
PenUltimo giorno quindi ultima giornata di pulizie non hanno messo i kit in bagno (cuffiette creme saponi etc) non è da resort di lusso
Anche il giorno prima avevano dimenticato le tovagliette che erano finite

Perfect destination to recharge
Pros:

This stunning location has the perfect hotel to re-set, recharge and nourish. The yoga classes and e-bike classes are great fun. The food is wonderful and the wine....I really enjoyed too. All the staff are great, however I Guiseppe was our waiter and was so kind, interesting and helpful. The rooms as quiet and very well maintained. You can soak in the view of the cypress trees in the distance with the sunlight over the hills. Its a splurge of a holiday however the value in terms of what this does to rejuvenate you is wonderful. The immersive sauna experience was good fun and so powerful.
