Excellent stay
Pros:

The location is very good and near to center. The staff are very friendly. Due to the water channel near to the hotel the weather is good on summer.

There is no air conditioning

It doesn’t look like a 5 star hotel

Cons:

The room was super hot 29.4 degrees , air conditioning was working, the lift didn’t work, reported the issues to the receptionist, she wasn’t very helpful. The swimming pool is tiny. The steam room is dirty.

This hotel is a gem - location, staff, views, comfort were all stellar!
Pros:

The staff: went above and beyond during check in, showed us to our room, guided us through the property amenities, were extremely welcoming
The property: cabin style which even in the summer was extremely cozy - we had the Suite Edelweiss and it was extremely comfortable, clean, spacious, and the bathroom was extremely functional! The views from the balcony and bedroom window were breathtaking. worth the extra splurge.
The location: in the center, close to the bus station, the city center, and all the points of interest (mer de glace, aiguille du midi, brevent)
Overall, this hotel was amazing, exceeded all my expectations, and over delivered in every possible way!

Should think about air conditioning for the summer seasons
Pros:

Great location , great facilities.

Cons:

Paying extra for parking, no air conditioning - as there was no air conditioning we had to have the window open which as we had a room facing the square it was very noisy

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel le 15.06.2026.

Conclusion : à fuir absolument.

Je précise qu’il s’agit d’un hôtel 5 étoiles.

- L’ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas.
- Réveil dès 8h00 du matin, les femmes de chambre faisaient le ménage dans la chambre voisine, puis ont frappé à notre porte.
- Et pour couronner le tout, aucune climatisation… dans un hôtel 5 étoiles.

J’ai sincèrement de la peine pour les personnes qui paieront le prix fort pour y séjourner en juillet.

À Chamonix, il existe de bien meilleures alternatives, comme l’Héliopic, Le Prieuré ou d’autres établissements de la région.

Pros:

La localisation, en plein centre de Chamonix! Le bruit de l'Arve juste sous nos fenêtres et la vue magnifique sur le Mont Blanc et l'aiguille du Midi.
Une chambre spacieuse et bien faite pour la famille.
La petite piscine intérieure a fait le bonheur de nos enfants!
Le personnel adorable et qui fait tout son possible pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable! Un grand merci

Cons:

Certaines des installations pourraient être "revues" : ascenseur capricieux et climatisation en panne, heureusement le personnel a pallié à tous les désagréments.
De quoi accrocher les serviettes de bain dans la salle d'eau serait pratique, surtout à 4.
