Pros:

I gestori molto disponibili e gentili. La camera molto spaziosa, arredata in modo elegante, ben climatizzata, confortevole e ben fornita per ogni necessità. La colazione ricca. La cena servita dal ristorante davvero eccellente (ovviamente questo servizio era a parte). Tornerò sicuramente.

In love with Grottafetta and Locanda Della Spuntino and its Taverna. Can’t wait to go back.
Pros:

The breakfast was lovely! A beautiful assortment was waiting for us at our table when we came down for breakfast. The location was fantastic! Right in the town. This is a boutique hotel with so much charm and the best restaurant in Grottaferatta in my opinion. The food and the ambience is out of this world. The hotel/restaurant is family owned and family run. Very warm people and very accommodating. I can’t say enough.

Nice stay in historic hotel near Rome for a fraction of Rome’ price
Pros:

Amazing place: this is historic building constructed in like 1850s and it still has lots of heritage inside. The rooms are big (by Rome standards), the rooms are finished with natural wood and bathrooms are all marble and stone finished. Breakfast is nice, but staff is super nice and welcoming (the owners by the way are always around).

Cons:

Remember that this beautiful hotel is located 35-50 mins car drive from Rome: you have to have a car to be able to come to this place and to reach Rome.

Our best stay while touring the lake area.
Pros:

The ambiance, like stepping into another world of long ago … the staff were so helpful and Paul - a member of the family who owns the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant cuisine choice was excellent and again the amazing knowledgeable staff of great wines. The bedlinen was 100% linen and the bed with topper … so comfortable the huge mosaic circular Bath / rain shower was fantastic and towels were excellent quality. We loved it there and the town was charming with many boutiques and historic features along with great restaurants too. Parking was just adjacent for a small fee.
