Bad room choice

Close to motorway,many times before nice size room,freshness,parking,breakfast everything was spot on.

I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your property in Room 207 on 29/06/2026.I am a regular guest and have always enjoyed my stays, but unfortunately, my experience this time fell short of expectations due to the room conditions.
Upon checking in, I noticed the corridor and the room itself were exceptionally hot, with a noticeable lack of air circulation. Because the room does not have air conditioning, the only option to cool it down was to leave the windows wide open.
However, because Room 207 is located directly exposed to the main road, leaving the windows open resulted in excessive traffic noise, including sirens, cars, and lorries throughout the night. Furthermore, the layout of the room, with the bed situated directly under the stairs, felt cramped and uncomfortable.
As a result of the heat and the noise, I was unable to sleep. This was particularly challenging as I had a 700-mile drive ahead of me the following morning, which I had to undertake while severely fatigued.
I do want to mention that the staff were as friendly and helpful as always, and the breakfast was excellently stocked. The service remains great, but the physical comfort of Room 207 unfortunately ruined my stay.
