Everything was amazing, the front desk staff was very polite and answered any questions we had. The building is older BUT in such good condition its not a problem. Very very clean! Even in the corners where some places get forgotten nope not here! Hot tub was amazing after a day at the parks. Breakfast was meh, its super crowded and not a big selection but with Dennys and IHOP litterly next door its not a huge big deal. We will be booking again for our next trip!
The room was very clean and so close to Disneyland. We appreciated the staff, they were friendly and willing to help when needed.
Breakfast was very basic, we chose to eat out several mornings.
Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at! Rooms were serviced every day and sheets were changed every three days. Even the corners, under the sink counters and the grout in the tub were clean. The outside door mats were hosed down and the pool was throughly cleaned every day. The staff was friendly as well. Location to the park is perfect. They offer a small continental breakfast but if you want more, the hotel has a Dennys on one side and Ihop on the other. There are other restaurants in the area as well. I would highly recommend and will be staying there again if we return to Anaheim.
Love this hotel! Great location, clean, safe, spacious, great staff and a nice breakfast included!!
The location was amazing - a short walk across the street to the parks. The room was quiet and clean, despite its lack of a few amenities like trash bags in the waste containers and directions for how to work the TVs. The price was definitely worth it though and the staff were amazingly helpful when needed. The breakfast was a little lacking - they stated it was a continental breakfast, but there were only 2 kinds of pre-packaged fruit pastries and a few basic cereals.
I had a booking with my family for May 26th. A few days before we were set to leave, the chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove. We live out of state, and followed the news closely to determine whether we should cancel the trip or not. I called last Saturday, four days before we were set to leave, and was told they would be "flexible" with cancelations due to the situation. We decided to cancel Sunday nght, so I called nad was told I could cancel, but that the charge of over $200 for te first night would not be reversed. Also, I could reschedule, but only if I chose dates within the next 30 days. The manager I spoke to told me that the situation is fine now, that Disneyland had never been under the evacuation orders, was "pretty far" away and that there was little to no danger. I don't live in Orange County anymore, but was born there and I'm familiar with how close Garden Grove is to Anaheim. Basically, she acted as though everything was fine and there were no extenuating circumstances at all.
Disappointed and annoyed I am now out $200. I will make sure to not stay here when we reschedule the trip to Disneyland.
Love the location!
Wish the windows were darker at night.
Need more seating at the breakfast area.
I had a wonderful experience at the Anaheim Desert Suites. From the friendly desk clerks to the housekeeping staff, everyone was welcoming and helpful. Since I was traveling alone, I was in room 198, a corner room with a king bed. The room was very clean, well-stocked, and the air conditioner worked GREAT! There was no tub, but I didn't need or miss one. The bathroom looked like it had been newly renovated, and there were plenty of washcloths, hand towels, and large towels. The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows, which I appreciated. I was right next to the elevator, but I never heard it. My area was quiet and I felt safe walking back and forth to Disneyland. There are several restaurants within steps of the hotel, I highly recommend Calaca Mama's Cantina. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and the kids in there were having a blast. There's a little market you can access for snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. It took me four minutes to walk from my room to Disneyland Security. I flew in and took an Uber from the airport, easy peasy both ways. This will be my go-to hotel from now on when I come to Disneyland!
Great time! Perfect hotel for those traveling for Disneyland. It was the shortest walk to the front of the gates and there is food options all around incase you didn't have enough churros at the park. Staff were friendly and accommodating!
The location of the hotel is great- such a quick walk to Disneyland! Our room was located next to an ice vending machine and other guests constantly used the machine throughout the day and night. It would be better to have this enclosed to reduce the noise. Additionally, the windows had nice updated blinds, however they did not block the light that was outside or window. We had to use the decorative bed spread to hang on the window and act like darkening curtains. Also, gardeners should not utilize loud equipment until at least 10am.
Desert Inn and Suites is ALL about location! Such a quick and easy walk to Disneyland. Great value as well.
Clean and quiet a must stay if you must be across street
Love that it is so close to Disneyland, no shuttle bus to worry about. Room is clean and comfortable. Includes microwave and fridge. Price is cheaper than neighboring hotels. Breakfast is ok.
Anaheim Desserts Inn and Suites is the best place to stay near Disneyland. Conveniently close to the main gate, clean, decent continental breakfast and the parking charge is reasonable too.
This is our preferred Hotel every time we go to Disneyland and stay in Anaheim. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the check-in and check out was very easy. The rooms are very spacious and great for our large family, which the other hotels in the area do not have rooms that can accommodate about 10 people. I think the only issue I have was that the carpets felt a little dirty and the water pressure could be a little better. The cost of the rooms felt a little high but I guess you're paying for the convenience of being just across the street of Disneyland. But all in all we had a great time being at this hotel, I would make this our first choice every time when coming back to Anaheim and Disneyland.
Love this hotel! Great location, clean, friendly staff. The rooms are plenty big and it feels like a very safe area.
We stayed here for pur family vacation to Disneyland and it was such a great experience! Super friendly, room service every day with tons of good towels stocked in the room at all times, the pool and spa was nice for mid day reset and the location was 5 minutes to the gate! Price was great for how close to Disney and free breakfast was nice! Beds comfortable and rooms very clean and big. Will stay here as many times as i can book! They tend to be reserved or full alot but if you check their actual website every day you will find something.
Anaheim Dessert Inn and Suites is our go to motel. Right across from the entrance to Disneyland, sandwiched by Ihop and Dennys - it's perfect. Daniel at the front desk is amazing.
Great location. Clean rooms, friendly, efficient service. Right across the street from Disneyland. Highly recommend!!
Had roaches in our food, disgusting. Talked to front desk and manger and agreed to a refund. Gave us the run around for days and had to call booking again. They told us on three separate occasions that they would give us a refund and days later. I had to follow up with him because booking Could not get a hold of them. I got a hold of Danielle the manager and he said to call them again because he didn’t get a call or email I did and I was on hold with them after speaking to Daniel a few minutes ago and they got a hold of him and he said that they had to wait until the fumigation came to see if there was actually roaches in there, even though he saw the proof of the pictures and we even offered for him to go to the room to go see them. He declined and said that he was really sorry and that he would get a full refund, including our parking. So he lied to us when we talked to the higher up I’m not too sure some naïve younger girl that’s running the place said that they can’t give us a refund and he had no authority to say that, but that’s not our fault and at the end of the day, you can see that there was roaches in the room. We did do a back charge with our bank. She was implying that we were lying and that to protect themselves they had to see if the fumigators would find any roaches in there. Absolutely ridiculous so it didn’t only ruin our trip but also ruined our Disney day that day and on top of it gave us the runaround for days so wasted our time and made us really frustrated and then we talked to her with no sympathy and pretty much called us liars Even though there’s proof in these pictures. I would not give them a sentence and I’ve left reviews everywhere I can think of and I’m part of a lot of Disneyland groups and have a small online with Disney creators and I’m spreading the word and thank God a lot of people are receptive.
