Historical Hotel in Great Location
Pros:

Vintage (old) hotel with great character; big, clean rooms; delicious, hearty breakfast; 2 minute walk to Interlaken West Station; nice staff.

Cons:

A little expensive, but it is the tourist season in Interlaken, after all, so it’s market value, I suppose (which is fair).

Hieman epäsiisti huone, ryppyiset lakanat ,rikkinäset lamput, aamiaisastiat ja ruoat huonosti järjestelty. Koko hotellissa epäjärjestystä ja epäsiisteyttä.Esim. joulukoristeita kärryissä vastaanotossa.

Cons:

The property is in desperate need of renovation. The breakfast was very disappointing, with limited quality and choice. I booked a room for myself, my wife, and our two children (aged 4 and 7), but we were given separate rooms, which made no sense for a family holiday. Expecting a family with young children to stay apart was extremely inconvenient.

The hotel is also massively overpriced, although I suspect that's mainly due to its excellent location, which is really its biggest selling point. On a positive note, the staff were friendly throughout our stay

Schönes, altes Hotel in guter Lage.
Pros:

Ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Der Balkon nach hinten zum Fluß lud zum Sitzen ein.

Cons:

Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche waren wohl auch denkmalgeschützt. Hart und kratzig.

The breakfast had a lot of variety

Cons:

The rooms were very hot and stuffy. The staff could have been friendlier. We witnessed a yelling match between two of them in the lobby.

Pros:

The rooms were spacious and staff was friendly.

Cons:

The rooms were not clean. Beard trimming all over the bathroom sink, the floors didnt look clean at all, wall paper falling off the walls and windows ledges cracking.
