Best hotel in Kerry with great breakfast
Pros:

The service is exceptional, the best breakfast in Ireland, great garden , great location Eggi the manager is great

Probably a once off visit.
Pros:

The breakfast was fine. I know this hotel well having stayed there on a number of occasions under previous management.
The atmosphere now is a bit stilted by comparison with the past.

Cons:

I would say that the dinner was not up to the quality under previous management. It was just about ok but fell short of my expectation.

A good option for staying near Killarney that was quiet and pretty close to downtown.
Pros:

The location, the view, the vibe were all great. The staff were very helpful, too.

Great quiet spot away from town.
Pros:

Super friendly staff.

Cons:

A bit away from town. Which could be a benefit sometimes, if you're looking for a quiet place. We didn't realise how far it was to town.
Also our room was right next to the country road and we could hear machinery from early in the morning

Chambre confortable à proximité de Killarney, avec vue et calme
Pros:

L'hôtel est bien situé, et dispose d'une partie récente rénovée qui comporte des chambres avec air conditionné ainsi que d'une partie plus ancienne. Les chambres figurant dans la partie rénovée sont modernes avec une douche très confortable, un lit de grande taille et un ensemble très propre. La salle de petit déjeuner est agréable, avec un buffet et un plat à commander pour un total d'environ 16 € par personne. Le personnel est agréable sans être particulièrement chaleureux.

Killeen House is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location
Pros:

The location of this hotel is its best feature. There is ample parking and the views across to the hills are amazing.
We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant on our second night

Cons:

After a long drive we arrived to find that our message, via Booking.com, asking for a table reservation for dinner, hadn't been received. We were offered a meal in the bar instead, which was ok, but the service was slow and too laid back for our state of mind!

Excellent Dog Friendly Hotel
Pros:

The staff here were all so friendly and accommodating. We ate the bar food both nights and it was very nice as was breakfast. We stayed with our dog and the hotel was VERY dog friendly, she was allowed every where aside from the restaurant and there was a nice garden to walk around with her. The hotel is located outside of Kilarney but it was a lovely quiet location with beautiful views and plenty of seats in the garden area to enjoy the sunset.

Cons:

The decor is a bit old however it was clean. The price is a bit high per night (especially with the additinal pet charge) for what the hotel is but but I would still recommend staying here.

Il posto è molto caratteristico ed elegante e la posizione eccellente, fuori dal caos ma vicino al centro del paese

Cons:

Alcuni dettagli andrebbero rivisti, ad esempio sarebbe opportuno rinnovare i bagni ed eliminare la moquette che ormai si vede e si sente è datata.
