Absolutely best staff and services. Best facilities. Best location and available to any point in the city.

Our room was a bit far from the elevator 🙃. I would prefferr a stronger light in the room.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel château Leopoldskron dans un décor somptueux

Le petit déjeuner était servi dans un décor baroque fantastique !

Le château Leopoldskron est planté dans un cadre merveilleux aux abords d’un lac faisant l’objet d’une réserve naturelle avec en arrière plan des massifs montagneux particulièrement majestueux.

L’accueil du personnel était excellent. Nous avons même pu être utilement conseillés sur des visitées intéressantes à ne pas manquer à Salzburg 😊

Would be perfect if not because of large functions during our stay

Beautiful property. Our suite in the Schloss was roomy, beautiful and just out of this world. Breakfast was great. Staff was very good also.

Cons:

Both days we were there, there were big functions. One was a wedding. Since the most beautiful part of the property was the patio area of horse gate to the lake, that area was very limited to our enjoyment. We got up very early in the morning just so that we can take pictures from the area. So be prepared for limited access to the most beautiful part of the property. Also, the wedding party was on until may be midnight. Given there was no AC in the rooms, we had to have the windows open during the beginning of September. The noise from the celebration was a bit difficult to ignore. But I would definitely book this property again.

Breathtaking views but a little disappointed
Pros:

The property is absolutely memorable, breathtaking, and a must see. The staff is very kind, especially Leah who greeted us upon arrival and even left my daughter with a souvenir. The breakfast was so delicious, and the staff was so generous to give us boxes because we had an excursion to get to very early morning. Overall, pretty decent.

Cons:

I was very disappointed with the room, unfortunately. When you spend this much on a room, you really expect more. The bed and pillows were soooo uncomfortable, there were coffee pods but no coffee machine, and the shower was super slippery. I think this property deserves an upgrade on rooms and decor, even on the rooms that are not in the palace.

Pros:

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here. The bar’s garden has a wonderful atmosphere and amazing views of the lake and distant mountains.

Without doubt this hotel was the best we have stayed in, and we have stayed in some famous hotels.
Pros:

A breakfast which lacked nothing you could ever want in a setting of breathtaking beauty. Staff, as all staff in this hotel, were friendly, efficient but unobtrusive.

A wonderful location with some great history and sights!
Pros:

The dining hall was spectacular! We also were excited about the use of the swimming facilities near by. We wish we had seen the bikes located on the property earlier as well as that would have been great!
