The hotel was close the motor way, which was convenient for our trip to UK. It has a parking option, that makes it suitable if you travel by car. There are couple of good grocery stores, if you need to stock up your boot for the rest of your trip. The hotel offers you a map, so you can easily know what is where around the town and to see places that you could possibly visit while you are there. The staff were very friendly and they were speaking English, which in our case was of a great help!
The room that we were accommodated to had a broken bathroom door, making it almost impossible to close when you try to use the facilities and making loud noises when then you try to get out.
The room was unpleasantly dark, with the only light options being a couple of night lamps on the wall.
On top of everything, because we are travelling with a child (12 years old one though!), we were placed near a family with small child, probably a toddler, that started screaming and crying for one hour early in the morning at 7AM, while we were still trying to catch up on our sleep for the long day of driving through Europe that we had ahead of us! As a result, we didn't get much of a sleep and we had really hard day afterwards!
It is about time the hotels to finally start making difference between 2 years old child and 12 years old child!
If you want to use the parking, you are forced to pay for 24 hours per day even though you are presented with the option to pay hourly. But, at the 10th hour the amount becomes the same and any hour after, makes the bill rise more. So, if you stay for more than 10 hours at the hotel (we stayed for 14), you have to pay for 24 hours anyway.
Even though we've paid online, upon our arrival, we were charged with some local taxes on top.
