A lovely place

Relaxing gourmet experience
Pros:

The location is so beautiful and peaceful, this hotel is full of character and charm. The garden is beautiful with chairs in shady or sunny spots. Lots of beautiful local shady countryside walks. Parking is easy. The on site restaurant is divine. Breakfast is delicious. We stayed here in March and loved it so much we couldn’t wait to return. We are so pleased we did!
Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Cons:

On arrival we were met by a very rude and unhelpful lady. Having been told facilities would be open until 16.00 on the Sunday, clearly they were not and she told us so. We were offered no drinks or use of the toilets and had to wait 1.5 hours to check in. Also temp was 40 degrees, no air con or fan, sleeping on the top floor was like being in an oven.

Superbe château !
Pros:

Le cadre est magnifique, le château est impressionnant quand on arrive. Les chambres sont jolies et la décoration aussi.
La fenêtre donne sur la cour.
Le personnel est très agréable. Je recommande !

Les chambres étaient agréables, lumineuses, on s'y sentait bien !

Cons:

RAS, même si l'ensemble est un petit peu dans son jus, notamment la salle de bain même si elle est tes propre !

Lovely chateau, conveniently located, very dog friendly, super helpful staff working there.
Pros:

Lovely old chateau. Beautifully maintained grounds. Excellent parking with a large van, secure.
Very dog friendly. Conveniently located for travel onwards to Calais. Such nice and helpful staff. Comfy beds. Excellent restaurant, made my dog 2 hamburgers.

Cons:

Could maybe do with some updating to the rooms although they are comfortable. Also a downstairs lounge with comfortable seating could be nice to have if the weather isn’t good outside. But all in all I will stay there again when traveling.
