Two nights stay
Pros:

We stayed for two nights in May 2026. Room was very clean and comfortable. Amber at the reception desk was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. I am coeliac and they had options for me, including very good gluten free buns. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location , great hotel.
Pros:

We’ve just returned from a fabulous few days in Bruges. The staff at this hotel are extremely efficient and very attentive.
Rooms aren’t big but very comfortable and the shower and bathroom were good.
Breakfast is chilled and plentiful. You can sit indoors or out in the courtyard which was lovely.
We parked our car at the hotels car garages a little further up the road. The cars were secure and easy to access.
The hotel is in a great location and everything is writhing a short stroll.
I can’t fault this hotel.

Perfect for a family trip to Bruges
Pros:

Had a family room with a canal view which was perfect with two children. Great location only 10 minute walk into historic centre. We all enjoyed the breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.

Only negatives:
- Coffee wasn’t brilliant - better off waiting and visiting a nice coffee shop in the town
- a fridge in the room with some water would have been nice. It was very hot during our stay and we had to buy water from the carrefour down the road and then couldn’t keep it cool.
- the old fashioned lift is not for the claustrophobic!

For the price we paid I would have expected at least a fridge with water at the very least.

Bank holiday weekend at Hotel Ter Duinen Bruges
Pros:

Stayed for 3 nights in May. Not the biggest hotel rooms, but they were clean and quiet and all the facilties we required. Perfect location just outside the centre of town with a 10 min walk along the canal to get to the main square. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There are no amenities such as a bar , but ihere a local bar a few hundred yards away with plenty of atmosphere if you are looking for this.
A bargain for what we payed.
Would I visit again? Absolutely!

Hotel ter Duinen was the ideal choice as a base for exploring the glorious city of Bruges.
Pros:

This hotel had to be right because we chose it as the base for 6 of us from Australia and Canada to stay for a week. It did not disappoint. The staff, especially the front desk and the breakfast ladies were so helpful and went out of their way to make our reunion a very special time. The breakfast was included in the price and was superb. One room was upgraded without additional cost which was appreciated. Great location on a lovely canal and the bus stop was right at the door. It is a very well-run hotel.

Cons:

Perhaps a second coffee machine at breakfast. lineups frequent.
