Had a room with a large terrace and a plunge pool which was perfect given the 30 plus degree temperature
Pros:

Great location with good options for breakfast

Cons:

Wasn’t able to get an early check in and then had to wait until 3:30 for our room to be ready, which was 30 minutes after check in opened

I had booked and paid, with my credit card, a quite expensive room for 230 euros per night. Instead of me, my wife was travelling and when arrived in the hotel, they asked for her card to verify (what??). Once they saw that the booking was paid from another card (although the surname was the same) they denied to give the room to my wife, asking her to pay again the room price, although the room was paid. They claimed that they will refund the initial payment 5 working days later. My wife called Booking.com help desk and after explaining the situation, a booking agent called the hotel. The hotel still was insisting for my wife to pay again for the room. Finally, after two hours discussion with the reception manager she paid again the room. After four days the initial payment was refunded to my credit card. This hotel process is a clear bureaucracy, there was nothing to verify, as the room was already paid, and their behavior jeopardized my wife's day. Stay away from them, otherwise you risk similar behaviors.

Broken lamp with annoying sound and poor service

The location and rooftop swimming pool

Cons:

The lamp in the room was broken in a way that it created very annoying sound after the light was turned off. The staff suggested us first to wait till the morning :) after 10 minutes of my explanation that then I would not be able to sleep, they checked that there was a free room and suggested to move. After we spent 20 more minutes packing, the lamp finally stopped making this awful noise. The stuff promised to send somebody to repair it in the morning, but they did not repair is we found out next night.

Plus we initially were given wrong room without separate beds. So they had to change it, but then we were without a view. We were suggested to move next night to a room with a view and 2 beds. But we stayed only for 2 nights in total.

Card room was not working, too.

My go to in Barcelona
Pros:

I've stayed here a few times now and I absolutely love this hotel. It's really convenient in terms of location and the staff is always very attentive.
The rooms are of a reasonable size and the beds are way too comfortable.
It's also super handy that the TVs have chromecast functionality so that you can cast from your phone the shows you want to watch with ease.

Cons:

The only thing I would say was that the room I had this time, was a little oddly designed where the TV was on a wall that meant the TV wasn't in front of you and the toilet was behind a door with little room to move around it. Not a massive issue but the only small downside. It wouldn't stop me from returning.
