La ubicación, justo es la avenida principal que da al castillo de Cardiff.

Cons:

No se indica que hay que subir hasta una tercera planta sin ascensor, la recepción es el restaurante de al lado (gracias que no habían cerrado) y sobre todo, la limpieza de las 2 sillas que había en la habitación (llenas de polvo) … el baño pese a que estaba más o menos limpio solo tenía un rollo de papel para varias personas y varios días de estancia.

Real value for money and such a quiet room considering the location!
Pros:

Collecting the key from the food hut downstairs, with no reception staff did not seem safe at first. However, it all went really well and I felt completely safe. This is vital for solo female travellers. The room was really clean, there was a fan plus it was so much quieter than I expected. I had been told I could drop my bag off at the Sandringham hotel the next day and this also went smoothly, the woman on reception there was so friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The stairway has seen better days and makes the place seem unclean and a bit scary. The actual room was really clean though.

Not what my sister and I expected

The stairs to our room . 50 steps to get up there.
I am younger than my sister but trying to get 2 cases up and down, and after a busy day à trec to get to the room.The property needs some serious up- dating. The stair carpet was worn through, and furniture and mattresses not substantial

Good value for money in a great location.
Pros:

Located in the heart of the night life in Cardiff City Centre. The castle is a few minutes walk. Clean. large room, large bed, great view of St Mary Street and there’s a taxi rank across the street. Friendly efficient service.

All good for me.

Cons:

No involvement with any house keepers only one change of sheets in the week in weather that was roasting hot and no cold water tap only two hot ones??? couldn't complain as no staff not impressed definitely needs to be looked at

The location was good

Cons:

The property wasn't habitable!!!! There was damp, no running hot water & the windows had been screwed shut. It's illegal to screw shut windows, especially ones above ground level!!!!! The mattress were also not comfortable.

Cons:

Very run down and super basic. The iron didn't have a back/end bit and the wires were all out! It hasn't been tested, and the fan last tested was 2022!. Very worn carpets up to the rooms, curtains weren't wide enough to stop light coming in, bedside table Very worn. Cold tap in bathroom really loose, shower wasn't the best. Think it was single glazed windows and could hear everything outside. Pictures of the place looked alot better than the room itself.

Cons:

Stairs steep and alot of them. Threadbare carpet on stairs and dirty walls. Bed had clean bedding but the bed in general was disgusting. Could feel every spring through mattress. Headboard not attached to bed. Was to scared to look at the matress as i probably wouldn't have slept there. Bedroom looked very tired and dated. Bathroom the same, did not want to shower there so waited until I got home. You had to pick the key up from the kebab shop nextdoor, not pleasant. Would not stay here again. At £150 a night. Never!
