Excellent séjour dans un hôtel idéalement situé
Pros:

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé, au pied du pont Charles et à proximité de tous les principaux lieux de visite de Prague. La chambre était vraiment top, très bien équipée et parfaitement propre. La salle de bain était impeccable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons vivement cet établissement.

Cons:

Le seul point que nous avons moins apprécié est l’horaire du petit-déjeuner, qui débute à 08h00. Il serait préférable qu’il puisse commencer à 07h00, ou au plus tard à 07h30.

La posizione eccellente

Cons:

Non è un hotel a 4 stelle. Manca un ambiente che accolga il cliente. Non c'è una poltrona o un divano dove poter sedere.. La reception è limitata a poche ore. Il personale non sa cosa sia accogliere con i dovuti modi il cliente, sono alquanto sbrigativi . Non leggono le mail. Hanno continuato a scrivermi Sir anche dopo aver precisato che ero una signora, più e più volte. La colazione è basica, non da hotel a 4 stelle. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere se potevamo aspettare il taxi ( servizio convenzionato con loro) nell'unica saletta presente ( quella della colazione ) per non stare in strada su una panchina. Il servizio e l'accoglienza andrebbero adeguati.

Gute Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt bestens, direkt an der Karlsbrücke, wir haben alle Erkundungen zu Fuss gemacht. Das war Ideal. Die Zimmer haben eine gute Grösse und sind praktisch eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmertüren sind nicht ganz Schalldicht, also hört man die Nachbarn abends nach Hause kommen. Aircondition war bestens. Das Personal und die Leute sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Es gibt keine Lobby, auch sonst kein "Hotelflair". Die Reception ist in einer kleinen Ecke zwischen Restaurantküche und Restaurant. Das Erdgeschoss ist ein Restaurant mit Küche, und darüber in 2 Stockwerken und im Dach sind die Zimmer. Wer also Wert auf HOTEL legt, ist hier falsch. Die Vorhänge im Zimmer sind nicht dicht, also man hat morgens schon das Licht im Zimmer, wem das Probleme bereitet, besser eine Augenbinde mitbringen. Das Frühstuck ist gut, die Basics werden angeboten. Qualität ist gut.

Kommer gjerne tilbake til The Golden Scissors ved neste Praha besøk
Pros:

Sentralt men allikevel stille på kveldstid. 50-60 m fra trapp opp på Karlsbroen.
Rent og bra størrelse på rommet.

Cons:

Litt støy fra gang til rom men var ikke et problem

Nice room in the heart of the historic district
Pros:

Large room with easy access to the Charles Bridge. Air conditioning worked well, nice shower and comfortable bed. The included breakfast was good.

This is not really a hotel; it is a set of apartments located above a pub. Check-in is handled by a waitress rather than hotel staff. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up to the 4th floor using very narrow stairs, which felt unsafe.

Check-out is at 10:00 a.m., which is unacceptable for a property advertised as a 4-star hotel.

To make matters worse, there was no water at all in the morning. I asked for a later check-out so I could wait for the water to be restored, take a shower, and brush my teeth, but my request was refused.
