Otelin bulunduğu sokak çok güvenli değildi ancak herhabgi bir problem yaşamadık. Otelin cephesinde yerel insanlar turistler için protesto pankartı yapıştırmış. bu durum konaklayanları rahatsız ediyor.

Room a bit small
The receptionist was accommodating – we did not have euros in coins yet so she provided them for us to store our luggage until our room was ready.
The lockers we stored our luggage in operated/opened with coins. Would have been better for us not to have to use coins, we had two large suitcases and two sizable carry-ons and needed three lockers. We needed to borrow six euros in coins from the front desk.
The room was clean and comfortable enough and the front desk staff were friendly. It was close to the metro and major sites.
This hotel felt overpriced relative to what it offered. The room was spartan and TINY (it felt comparable to a dorm room or even smaller). There were almost no amenities (not even water available to guests, and breakfast was not included). There’s no sitting area etc. And the neighborhood was grimy and felt a little unsafe (our Tourguide even told us that it was the least safe area of the old town). In short, this is a two star hotel priced like a four star hotel, and we did not feel that we got a good deal for our money.
We had such a lovely stay here and would absolutely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was always a smiling face whenever we left or returned to the hotel, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They helped organise our taxi to the airport and were also very helpful and accommodating when our flight was delayed.
The hotel itself was very clean and our room was comfortable - we slept really well throughout our stay. The location was fantastic. We were within walking distance of so much of Barcelona, with plenty of great bars, tapas restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets nearby. It was also close to public transport, making it easy to get to places further away like Sagrada Família and Park Güell.
What probably says the most is that we actually found ourselves saying we were “going home” whenever we headed back to the hotel in the evening or returned for an afternoon siesta! It became such a comfortable little base during our time in Barcelona and was always a lovely place to come back to after a day exploring.
There really isn’t much negative to say! The only small thing was that our room didn’t have a fridge. I’m not sure whether other room types do, but having a small fridge to keep water cold would have been handy. That said, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby, so we simply bought cold water as we needed it, and with the air conditioning keeping the room cool it really wasn’t an issue.
It’s also worth noting that because the hotel is in such a central and lively part of Barcelona, there is naturally some street noise and foot traffic, particularly in the evenings. We personally didn’t find this to be a problem at all and slept really well, but if you’re a particularly light sleeper it may be something to keep in mind. For us, it was simply part of the trade-off for having such a fantastic central location where we could walk to so many places.
