Little beauty in Brescia
Pros:

Characterful property tucked away in a small alleyway off Piazza Del Loggia in the most appealing area of Brescia. Great staff, very helpful with dining suggestions and local travel advice. Numerous places to eat and drink on the doorstep. Good breakfast. Quiet and comfortable.

Lugar tranquilo y agradable
Pros:

Es mucho más acogedor y bonito en persona que en las fotos. Camas comodas, baño amplio y con un colgador donde pudimos secar nuestras toallas y bañadores. Aunque cierran la recepción se puede volver a cualquier hora usando la tarjeta. La ubicación es perfecta y tienen cerca muchos restaurantes buenos. Te hacen un 10% de descuento en el Sobrio si dices que te estas quedando en el hotel. Parking gratis en el castillo no muy lejos.

Cons:

El personal de recepción no hace demasiado esfuerzo por hacerte sentir bienvenido. El desayuno en sí es mejorable, pero lo que más me incomodó fue la actitud de la persona encargada de preparar los cafés, que estaba constantemente pendiente de lo que cogían o dejaban de coger los huéspedes. En un momento dado, como no había suficientes pinzas para todos los alimentos, utilicé una cuchara limpia para servirme unas galletas. Quiero dejar claro que en ningún momento toqué ningún alimento con las manos ni hice nada que pudiera considerarse poco higiénico o incorrecto. Aun así, la persona vino inmediatamente a decirme que tenía que utilizar las pinzas que estaban junto a la pizza.

Entiendo perfectamente que quieran evitar que los huéspedes toquen la comida con las manos, pero eso no fue lo que ocurrió. Si el hotel quiere que cada alimento se sirva exclusivamente con pinzas, la solución debería ser poner suficientes utensilios para todo lo que ofrecen. Además, tampoco me parece muy lógico utilizar las mismas pinzas para la pizza y para unas galletas: no quiero que mis galletas sepan a pizza.

Más allá de eso, la sensación durante todo el desayuno fue bastante incómoda, como si estuvieran constantemente vigilando lo que hacías. Cuando estoy de vacaciones, especialmente a primera hora de la mañana, agradezco poder desayunar tranquila y sentirme a gusto, no observada.

Very friendly and perfect location
Pros:

Staff were so welcoming and helpful. They helped us to find the subway station and gave us insider tips on how to pay. They offered to keep our heavy rucksacks on a very rainy day so that we could complete our list of sightseeing. The location is perfect with beautiful restaurants on same street.

Cons:

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast area as was very small and no tables big enough for 3 of us. Breakfast was basic but given cost of the accommodation that is expected.
