Pros:

Hotel Palanca is a small city hotel with a good location. It is relatively far form historical centre of Porto, but those who enjoy walking can easily reach it on foot. For those travelling on business, this is not a bad option, as the hotel has own parking and there are metro stations nearby. The breakfast is strictly continental, so don't expect a lot of variety in the dishes. The hotel's advantages include the cleanliness of the rooms, the politeness of the staff, and the feeling of comfort, despite the age of the hotel's equipment.

Cons:

Limited options for breakfast. Uncomfortable hard beds. Old furniture and equipment. No hair dryer. There is little light in the rooms, the lamps are very low-power. The electrical outlets are unreliable and look like they could fall out of the walls. Be careful=)

Très bon choix d'hôtel simple et efficace
Pros:

Emplacement, propreté, fonctionnalité, petit déjeuner. Personne discret et aimable.

Cons:

Le bruit des mouettes la nuit...mais l'hôtel ne peut en être tenu pour responsable.

Blisko do metra. Lata świetności hotel ma już raczej za sobą, ale pokój wygodny i czysty. Miły pan na recepcji i sympatyczna pani w jadalni. Dobra kawa do śniadania.
Warto by właściciele wstawili aktualne zdjęcia na Booking.

Śniadania dość monotonne, bez warzy, wale głodny na miasto nie wyjdziesz 😉

El desayuno muy limitado y si nos demoramos un poco no quedaba mucho y le guardaban a huéspedes que llegaban más tarde y me parece que ahí no había igualdad

Estadia medíocre nesta curta estadia ao Porto.
Pros:

Óptima localização, tive acesso a garagem sempre o que ajuda bastante, dado que na zona é difícil estacionar, boa limpeza no quarto e tava tudo funcional (TV, ar condicionado e equipamentos do WC).

Cons:

As funcionarias do pequeno-almoço e limpeza de quartos eram bastante antipáticas, solicitei limpeza de quarto, sem sucesso, pequeno-almoço fraquinho e havia muita humidade no tecto do WC.

L hotel è un po' datato ma è molto pulito e comodo per raggiungere a piedi il centro di Porto (15/20min a piedi ma tutto pianeggiante).
La possibilità di fare il check in a qualsiasi ora è stato per noi molto utile in quando siamo arrivati a mezzanotte.
Colazione standard , senza lode, con delle ottime brioche!!!
Possibilità di parcheggiare l auto di fronte all hotel molto comodo

Basic room , free secure parking , close to Metro station.
Pros:

Although the hotel it's old with outdated rooms and bathroom , it offered everything I needed during my stay in Porto. Free parking in a private garage that saved me from the parking fess downtown.. Close to Metro , yellow line , that goes straight in the historic center. The reception staff was very kind and helpfull , he guided me thoroughly with details about the city.

Cons:

Bathroom needs renovation . Very simple breakfast with limited options.
