We have stayed here many times and thought it was an okay place while in Napa. This time, things were different. Bed was okay and room clean.
We had booked two rooms for ourselves and our friends. There was a medical emergency with our friends husband. He was at Emergency and was being admitted to the hospital, one day before our reservation. I called and emailed but the would not cancel the second room reservation. We went and they charged us for both rooms and then gave us one of the worst rooms we have ever had when staying there. The water ran brown from the tap and the bathroom and room was super tiny. We were disappointed by management since we have stayed there many time before and had planned to stay there again. Booking.com said they would refund if hotel agreed. They did not. Very disappointing experience.
Room was clean and very quiet. Could park right n front of room.
No instructions for using tv remote. No housekeeping. One of lightbulbs out in light fixture over the sink.
Friendly staff, amazing water pressure!
The walls in bathroom were dirty the tub had permanent stains the TV was too small for $504 dollars it wasn't worth it

this place is minimal, but clean. A loud humming sound behind the building started on around 3 am each night, waking me up. My partner and I shared a queen bed and every movement created a creak that woke the other up. The front garden is kind of nice; the window in the bathroom showed an ugly backyard.

Chardonnay Lodge is right on a major road, so you do hear traffic.
Some of the write-up & photos about the “lodge”are misleading so our arrival was surprising.
It is a poor but safe area in Napa. Impeciably clean motel but too many "decorations" everywhere. Run by a lovely couple. Very gracious. Needs decor updating. Beds and cleanliness wonderful!!! I would stay there again because of the couple who run it. But, overall a "C" rating because it it needs decor updating.
Solid former motor motel, turned into Napa Valley themed boutique. Single story, tight quarters but comfortable. No services, breakfast, etc. but affordable when many choices are quite overpriced. North end but pleasant 15 min walk into town. It’s near the ButterCream Bakery, which is awesome!
The small garden areas the owner created to sit and have a glass of wine or just enjoy the garden was thoughtfully planned and a nice touch to the hotel.
Good location but facilities need a refresh. No microwave or refrigerator in the room.
The property is in a very convenient location, which we greatly appreciated, but the street is quite busy and definitely not picturesque.

Beautiful gardens with great parking. Clean room and welcoming staff. No fridge or microwave as stated in description. Thin walls so you can hear your neighbors sadly. Shower flooded the bathroom floor very easily. Very convenient for Napa at a very reasonable price.
