Fijne stop midden in Matera. Alles op wandelafstand
Pros:

Locatie! Midden in het centrum! Parking aan de rand te reserveren op 10 minuten wandelafstand door het historische centrum.

Cons:

Ontbijt krijg je al de dag op voorhand op je kamer. Vers brood zou leuker zijn.
Wel fijn dat we een eigen terrasje hadden

Ottima posizione con bellissima vista. L’appartamento era impeccabilmente pulito, arredato con gusto e curato nei minimi dettagli. I letti erano abbastanza comodi. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. La posizione è ottima per visitare il centro storico e, nonostante ciò, l’appartamento era sorprendentemente silenzioso.

Cons:

Ci aspettavamo un appartamento dotato di aria condizionata, ma purtroppo non era presente e durante il soggiorno la temperatura interna si è mantenuta intorno ai 30 °C. Al nostro arrivo il personale ci ha gentilmente proposto di trasferirci in una camera con aria condizionata. Tuttavia, viaggiando in gruppo, abbiamo preferito rimanere nell’appartamento. Lo staff ci ha quindi fornito dei ventilatori, che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Sarebbe utile indicare con maggiore chiarezza nella descrizione quali appartamenti sono dotati di aria condizionata, così da evitare equivoci.

I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Pros:

We had a 2 bed apartment with a mezzanine op[en plan 3rd bedroom. The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff here were excellent, friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make a special celebration surprise for my brother in their Museum area. My brother and his wife stayed for 1 night in a cave room with aircon that was really nicely decorated and cool.

Cons:

There was only 1 bathroom with frosted glass windows in the door that didn't feel very private. It was very warm with no aircon however fans were provided.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, au top pour visiter les Sassi. Le logement était grand. Le petit déjeuner super complet

Inutile de prendre la navette qui coûte super cher car en fait on peut accéder à l'hôtel pour poser les valises ! Dommage

Pros:

Nossa experiência no Hotel San Giorgio foi muito positiva. As instalações são confortáveis e bem cuidadas, a comunicação antes da chegada foi excelente, com todas as informações necessárias, e a localização é um grande destaque: fica bem no coração dos Sassi, permitindo explorar Matera a pé.
A única observação é em relação ao acesso. Como é comum na região histórica, há muitas ladeiras e escadas de pedra, que podem ser escorregadias. Faz parte da experiência única de se hospedar nos Sassi, mas pessoas com mobilidade reduzida ou com muita bagagem devem considerar contratar um transfer, já que os carros não podem acessar a área por ser uma ZTL (Zona de Tráfego Limitado).

Cave room was a highlight of our holiday!
Pros:

Location was great as the shuttle from the parking took us straight to reception. We stayed in a private courtyard with my son & his partner next door.Our rooms were a short walk up some stairs so best to only bring the luggage you need for your stay & leave the rest in the car.

Delux Cave Room
Pros:

Lovely stay in a high quality room with a very comfortable bed. This really is a first class room which has everything needed so fridge & kitchen facilities should you wish. Each room appears to have a private courtyard. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, should I ever return I will definitely book here again.
