Cozy cave room in a beautiful central location.
Pros:

Unuque and modern cave room right in the middle if Matera and close to the action, somewhat easy to walk to without steps, it is Matera so there are hills. The location meant we could zip back to our own bathroom throughout the day.

Cons:

Roller suitcases. Leave them at home.

Location was amazing as was the instructions for parking before arrival

The air conditioning unit simply did nothing - we had to open all the windows to cool the room down but the street noise, builders nearby and early morning birds meant we had a poor sleep

Beautiful! Super friendly staff that made us feel like family! Wonderful service and they had many suggestions on fun and interesting things to do in Matera. Perfect location. Such a nice vibe to step out your door and be right in the middle of the historic Sassi district! Wonderful breakfast and service.

Niente. Bagno vecchio e colazione strana

Cons:

Il bagno era terribile, con muffa, vecchio e con vasca da cambiare. Per la colazione bisognava compilare una scheda e non si poteva scegliere ciò che più piaceva in quel momento. Mai visto!!!

Uns hat Matera sehr gefallen und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt.
Pros:

Ein richtiges Grotten - Hotel, Zimmer wie auch das Frühstück im Fels, für uns war das eine Premiere. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man hat alle Attraktionen ganz in der Nähe.

Cons:

Das Bett war nicht sehr bequem, Matratze müsste Mal gewechselt werden.
