Clew Bay Hotel

Had such a lovely stay at the Clew Bay Hotel. Good size rooms, great breakfast and perfect location. All staff are so kind and helpful also. Looking forward to returning for a weekend in Westport again!

Staff and breakfast were great.

This hotel is located in the centre of Westport. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Staff were extremely pleasant and we can definitely recommend a visit here.

Excellent location in the heart of Westport. Large room. Good breakfast - set menu so portions are a little on the small side.

The breakfast was consistently fresh, hot and more than ample. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs and salmon twice! The amount of salmon was a real treat. I have to recognize two staffers for the exceptional service, Bernie on the breakfast service team and Christina at the front desk

Good central location since I arrived by coach and left by train. Spacious, clean room with very comfortable bed. Good internet connection. Very good breakfast.

Superb one night stay. We had a lovely dinner, a lively night of music, a great sleep and a delicious breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect.food is beautiful and rooms are very clean and tidy. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. It's worth every penny.

What can i say about the weekend we have just had at the Clew Bay Hotel for the Bluegrass Festival. From the moment that we arrived at reception on Friday to check-out on Monday everything was perfect. The room was spottles, airy and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast and Dinner menus had so many choices we ate there for the weekend and the staff were just so nice and professional. The location is perfect with everything within walking distance. A big thank you to Darren, Karen and all the staff and we have already booked to join you again next year.

We arrived as a group from Spain, in a choir, singing at the local church with the resident Westport choir. Everyone at the hotel made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a group dinner which was hot , beautifully cooked and the same quality as the individual meals taken on different nights. Thank you to the whole staff for making our stay so memorable.

The Clew bay is located very conveniently in the Centre of Westport, close to all the attractions that he town has to offer.
All the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and my room was comfortable, well equipped and quiet.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel and plan to visit again next year.
Well done to the Team at Clew Bay , your hotel is well managed, the staff well trained making my stay a complete pleasure.

Central location, lovely breakfast, friendly staff

I just want to say that I had an excellent time when staying at the Clew Bay for the bluegrass weekend. The accommodation was as booked and was very comfortable. I ate in the restaurant and the food was tasty and very good. I would in particular however like to praise the staff in the hotel. Every one of them from front of house, to the bar, to the restaurant all were helpful and accommodating. The hotel was very busy with the bluegrass crowd yet all the staff remained friendly at all times. This led to having a great atmosphere and buzz in the hotel without any awkwardness. I am sure all the staff found it hard going at times but we didn't notice and I would like to thank them all for making my stay a memorable one. I have already booked for next year!!

Lovely hotel situated by the river, with friendly and efficient staff who made us feel welcome from the first night until our departure. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Good sized shower in the bathroom. Breakfast very good with a wide choice. Full Irish breakfast could only be managed one day. Superb evening meals. Well stocked bar with a lovely atmosphere. Good value, would stay there again.
