The staff is so kind and customer oriented. In addition, we were in London during the heatwave and the superb air conditioning system of the hotel made us feel ourselves in the oasis. I would definetely stay there in the next London visit.

Cons:

We checked into this hotel on one of the hottest days of the year so far. We were put in a small bedroom on the top floor which was stiflingly hot. The air conditioning didn’t work and the window above the bed didn’t open at all. The only other window (a sash window opposite the en-suite) opened a maximum of 4” and would not stay open, it just dropped back down again as the pully system on the sash window was defective. We complained to the concierge, whose attitude was appalling. He wouldn’t even listen to our complaint and kept talking over the top of us when we were trying to explain what was wrong. There was no offer of a change of room or even to attempt to get somebody to fix either the air conditioning or the window, and the best solution he could offer us was an upturned paper cup to prop the window open. We checked out and went to a different hotel at a cost of an additional £300. The only response that we had from the concierge was to say, “If you’re not happy, complain to Booking.com. Absolutely appalling level of service and complaint resolution. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Spacious, we were a family of 4. Location is perfect, walking distance to Hyde Park and major train and tube stations. Staff are super helpful. The facility is clean and comfortable.

Lovely staff, safe and quiet neighborhood, clean rooms, very close to subway stations and Kensington park

Cons:

The building’s sound insulation is not that good, if a kid screams in your floor, its like he is screaming inside your room 😅 but luckily the hotel guests were mostly quiet 😊

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

Spacious room with enough beds and wardrobes for 4 people. Nice location, near Kensignton gardens and Paddington station. Pleasant neighborhood and the hotel premises. You can keep your luggage at the reception after check-out. 24x7 reception available.

Cons:

No communication from the personnel in advance - despite 2 different communication channels with a question, I have not received any response. In the end, all was good, but I didn't like the feeling of insecurity before check-in.
