It was very centrally located nearby many great restaurants and bars. My favourite thing about the hotel is how the staff really welcomed us so warm from beginning to end. And even when we only stayed 2 nights, front desk (shout out to Alexander who we kept catching on his shift!) was super nice and fun to converse with! The room was also very clean and comfortable, just nice for 2 people. Just a few blocks away is the metro (Aliados), Mercado do Bolhao, Pingo Doce for groceries, and the shopping district. Simple and worth the booking!
Maybe the door locks can be modernised.

The location was close to transport, the room was a great size with balcony and we had everything we needed.

Excelente ubicación! Habitación muy luminosa, amplia, cómoda y limpia. Desayuno correcto, en la última planta y con vistas. El personal, muy amable.
No hay nada que no me haya gustado. Excelente 2 estrellas, muy por encima de algunos 3 estrellas en los que ocasionalmente me he alojado.

La posizione è centralissima. Hotel e camere pulite. Colazione sia dolce che salata e varia. Hanno anche bevande vegetali per chi non può bere il latte. Consigliato.
Le camere sono un pochino piccole ma tanto servono solo per dormire. Anche il bagno è piccolo: una persona obesa non riuscirebbe a muoversi adeguatamente.

È stata un'ottima scelta aver soggiornato in questo hotel, sia per la sua posizione perfetta per poter conoscere il cuore di Porto, sia per l'accoglienza alla reception, tutto il personale è stato molto gentile.
La camera non ci ha deluso, anche la colazione è stata ottima.
Se torneremo a Porto, questo hotel sarà nuovamente la nostra scelta.
2 star hotel with 4 star service! Wonderful staff. Really warm welcome not only on first arrival but every time we passed through Reception we were greeted like old friends. Alexander, Jessica and Phillipa were interested in our travels, views on Porto and offered excellent tourist ideas for making our holiday excellent. They are all lovely people and a huge asset to the hotel.
Room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Big shower in good sized bathroom with quality toiletries and regular towel changes. Good wifi and aircon. Breakfast was in light and airy room or on roof terrace. Breakfast was as advertised - mostly Continental with addition of Portuguese sweet pastries, fruit bowl and yoghurts. Staff attentive and replaced items regularly.
Top floor and roof terrace used as limited bar in evening. Sadly underused because drinks on the roof at night is magical place to relax. Luisa, who runs bar, is a lovely, intelligent and amusing person who really interracts with guests. Overall an excellent hotel with one of the highest levels of staff expertise and friendliness we have ever experienced in Europe.
