eigenlijk niets.
The location was excellent. The coffe machine was nice to have.
Propably it was written somewhere that the spa and saunas are under renovation but at least I did not notice it. At the breakfast many trays were empty but nobody cared.
Location and Breakfast with beautiful views
All good
Breakfast is great with lots of choices and location is very convenient, which is very close to train station and shops.
The hotel outside looks great, but the room is small and out dated.
Все было идеально. Персонал супер отзывчивый. Порекомендую всем.
Ihanat maisemat,olisi viihgynyt pidempäänkin...
Hyvä aamiainen.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen.
The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We had booked two rooms, but accidentally selected occupancy for only one person per room instead of two. The staff kindly corrected our booking and allowed both of us to stay in each room without any additional charge. We really appreciated their understanding and generosity.
The mountain-view rooms were beautiful, with stunning scenery right from the window. The rooms were not very large, but they were well equipped and had everything we needed, including a coffee machine.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious food, including fresh seasonal fruits. The breakfast area also had breathtaking panoramic mountain views, making every morning a memorable experience.
Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!
No
Location
No phone in the room for contacting the hotel staff. No AC, no fans in the room, how do they expect to counter heat. Smoking rooms are allotted adjacent to non-smoking rooms.
In the breakfast - they informed that Bread Loaf is finished, so can’t be made available. When the Hotel charges CHF 400+ per night for a room, then these issues are not expected at all.
Location across from train station, didn’t have to drag luggage uphill like other hotels in town. Beautiful scenery from every balcony. Excellent shampoo. Accommodating staff from storing luggage to providing a fan on hot days. Large breakfast selection.
No AC and pool was closed for renovations.
The staff was great and the view beautiful
Positive team at reception, durign the check in and check out. Great guys. Dont remebrr the names.
Restaurant "Pasta & More"
When we sat down at the ground-floor restaurant after check-in, we were asked to vacate our table because it had been reserved for someone else. I understand that it was an exceptionally busy day due to the football match. However, there was no sign indicating that the table was reserved. When we asked if there were any other available tables, we were told there were none and that reservations should have been made in advance. Then my wife asked if we could sit inside, and we were given a table there, although this option was not offered by the staff initially.
What was even more disappointing was that no one even checked whether the guests who had reserved the table were actually coming. A simple response such as, "Please give us a moment to check whether they are still coming," would have been much more appropriate. In many restaurants, reservations are held for around 30 minutes, and if the guests do not arrive, the table is offered to others.
.Another issue was the large number of flies in the restaurant. There were so many that we couldn't enjoy a normal evening meal.
I would recommend the following improvements:
Clearly mark reserved tables with "Reserved" signs so guests know they are unavailable before sitting down.
Please don't announce across the restaurant that a table is reserved. It would be much more professional to explain it politely and discreetly.
First check whether guests are staying at the hotel or are outside visitors. Hotel residents should ideally receive some priority during busy periods.
If you need to ask guests to leave a table, immediately offer them an alternative instead of waiting for them to ask.
If a table has been reserved, first check whether the guests are actually coming. Holding a reservation for about 30 minutes is common practice, after which the table can be offered to other guests if there is a no-show.
Beautiful views. Excellent hotel. Clean. Good breakfast. Staff were friendly. Close to the train station.
Pool was closed at the time we were there.
Beautiful hotel and very central location. Close to the train station
