The staff here have always done their best to help and accommodate any requests.
We knew the room we were going to be given had no air-conditioning, so a fan is usually in the room....we took a look and it had more guests on it than the hotels had all year!! Filthy! We cleaned what we could off and plugged it in...dead.
Toilet has an extractor fan that is supposed to switch off a few minutes after you switch the light off, it stayed on for 2 days/nights, even after reception were made aware, however we did get a replacement fan with slightly less dust on it for our second night......socket in bathroom didn't work, two towels and no mat for exiting the shower.
We have been at this hotel 10 times in the past 12 years,it was 4 star in the past but is scraping into 2 star,if only because the staff are so good. Management and shareholders need to take a good look at what they want from this hotel,at the moment it seems all they want is profit at the expense of a once great hotels reputation.
Also on another tack ...breakfast is very expensive, but next to nothing available for vegan and vegetarians...apart from coffee, bread and cereals.....we went out .....

De locatie was geweldig...
De kamer was veel te warm...airco werkte op 10% ongeveer er was wel een ventilator...(....)
De kamer was ruim en netjes
Handdoeken, maar één per kamer, niet schoon, overal spinnenwebben.
Uitstekende locatie om de prachtige regio van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug te ontdekken, zowel te voet als met de fiets. Het hotel biedt comfortabele e-bikes te huur aan en bij de receptie zijn handige uitgestippelde knooppuntenroutes beschikbaar.
De comfortkamers zijn volledig gerenoveerd en uitgerust met airconditioning, wat zorgt voor een aangenaam verblijf in elk seizoen. Daarnaast beschikt het hotel over een afgesloten parking voor zowel fietsen als wagens, wat extra gemak en veiligheid biedt voor de gasten.
De kamer (nr. 21) werd ’s nachts onvoldoende verduisterd door de buitenverlichting van het binnenterras, waardoor de nachtrust mogelijk werd verstoord.
Tijdens het ontbijt was er geen plantaardige of magere yoghurt beschikbaar. Het zou een meerwaarde zijn om ook voor gasten met specifieke voedingsvoorkeuren of -behoeften een alternatief aan te bieden.
Daarnaast ligt het tapijt in de ontbijtruimte niet overal vlak, wat een risico op struikelgevaar kan vormen, vooral voor gasten die minder goed ter been zijn. In het kader van valpreventie is het aangewezen om dit aan te passen.

Of het nou een lunch is met de familie, koffie met vrienden o.i.d.
Nu voor het eerst wezen slapen in het hotel.
Vooral het diner was erg goed!
Helaas geen airconditioning in de kamer, alleen maar een tafelventilator.
Verder geen bijzonderheden te melden.
