Noisy on a main road. Heard people in the next room all night. very overpriced for a low standard accommodation.

Very noisy showers were too small

The only thing i can really complain about it the noise on a night time which cant really be helped with it being on a main road.

Tv remote not there and tv did not work. Fittings were missing and holes in toilet walls.

Everything the place is a complete death trap and dump.

The walls were peeling off, bathroom slabs were shattered and broken and there was no spoons in the room for the tea and coffee. On Saturday evening there was constant noise and disruption whereby I was woken up by drilling at 1am in the morning and it didn’t stop until 4am at night.

The staff were less than helpful and the private car park was impossible to park in as they had people blocking the gate.

Genuinely I’ve paid £384 for two nights and I wouldn’t come back even if I was paid to stay here and it tarnished my weekend away at the GNR

Shocking beds, smelly bathroom, tiny room. Don't expect much!

Was put in a room that smelt like module and damp, section of wallpaper was hanging off with mould uncovering a small hole next to my sons bed, shower was dirty. And limescale all over shower head

The place could do with a bit of an upgrade, but everything worked as it should and we had a pleasant stay. Mattresses could be a bit firmer.

The location was dire, dirty and quite run down. The rooms need upgrading, not massively as it's very expensive but the furniture is very old. The radiator was lose. It looks nothing like the pictures. The cusion on the bed was horrific, I definitely wasn't putting my head anywhere near it. The noise from the fan in the bathroom must have annoyed the whole hotel when I switched the light on. The shower filled up with water, I had to get out before it drenched the bathroom. Bedside lamp didn't work. Walls were paper thin and could hear next door having a barny which was more him having a go at her. Quite worrysome. There was someone clearly on drugs at reception 'kicking off' as I returned on my first night. Asked the guy on reception to just lock the doors for half an hour or so until he definitely left. Was informed he had previously stayed there for three weeks. So thats the clientele! I had to put the latch on the front door for him and the doors still opened! Got him to actually lock it with a key for everyones safety. He had no idea what to do. Actually felt sorry for him as these people can be very scary...and violent. Safe to safe, with that and the guy next door, I didn't feel safe at all. So I checked out after one night. Yes the lovely lady in the morning asked if everything was OK, no I didn't tell her. Why? Because I'm not daft, I have worked hotels most of my life like so many have. It doesn't get to this level of bad over night. Plus I had my partner in hospital with a dire situation, my concern was with him not how a hotel that doesn't know how to get the basics right yet. This messagevis for lone women, steer clear.

The room felt small, and the cleanliness could be improved.

Asked for a housekeeping in the second day i was their and in the 4 days nobody turned up.
