We stayed here for two nights on the last leg of our honeymoon. We were able to check in 2 hours earlier which was great. The pool area was lovely and the room was modern and a decent size. Best thing was the location, only 5 min walk from the metro station so it served as a perfect base for 2 days.

The Worst Hotel We’ve Stayed at in Singapore

This is by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in Singapore. We expected much better from a five-star hotel, but our experience was extremely disappointing.

The front desk staff were rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to solve our problems. We were even charged twice, and getting the issue resolved was frustrating. Guests should carefully check their bills.

The most serious incident was when the room door injured my child. Instead of showing concern or providing immediate assistance, the staff told us to wait until the next day. We felt they were trying to avoid responsibility and even gave us misleading information about the situation.

The following day, they offered to arrange two cars to take us to the airport, but this did not address the actual issue. When we asked about compensation and responsibility, the manager claimed the hotel had no insurance, which was shocking for a five-star property.

To make matters worse, after we checked out, the hotel informed Trip.com that the room was perfectly safe and suitable for guests, despite the serious safety issue we experienced.

The room itself also had maintenance problems. The shower mixer did not work properly, causing the water temperature to suddenly change from very hot to very cold. This was uncomfortable and potentially dangerous, especially for children.

Overall, this hotel failed in both safety and customer service. We are extremely disappointed with how our concerns were handled and cannot recommend this hotel. If you are travelling with family or young children, please think carefully before booking.

The Crystal Club service was topnotch. Special thanks to Gladys,Shiver and Mike for making our stay wonderful. Nothing was ever too much.

Stayed on level 9 and got the crystal lounge access which has inclusions for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. It was a fantastic experience, the room is nice, got a bottle on arrival as well.

The hotel boasts a contemporary aesthetic with an excellent location. Mr. Cardijn at the front desk patiently assisted me with check-in and showed me around. This property is well worth staying at.

We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Park City Hotel. We had club access and was looked after by Gladys, Mike, Shidee and Vanessa. They were very attentive and helpful during our stay.

This was our second time at this hotel and it is still a great place to stay. We had the Crystal Lounge as part of our package and it didn't disappoint. We were well looked after by Gladys, Mike and Shidee with Vanessa and Conrad on the front desk.
The rooms are well presented and the house staff were very welcoming but the electronic switch panel was a bit of a challenge for us.
Just a short walk to the MRT, river front and many attractions

We always stay on our way to visiting family in Australia. Good, efficient and clean hotel where travellers can have a good night's sleep. But the main reason we stay is due to the excellent concierge guys (including Iwan an Syahir) at ground level when you first arrive. They and their colleagues are brilliant representatives of the hotel and nothing is too much trouble at the time you arrive and depart.

My family and I recently had a great vacation in Singapore, and our stay at the Grand Park City Hall played a major part in that awesome experience. The hotel was classy, very clean, provided topnotch services, delicious food, and was centrally located. Everything was within walking distance - the City Hall bus stop, shopping malls, restaurants, parks. And the view from the upper floors was just breathtaking! From the moment we arrived to the day we left, every staff member who assisted us was superb. I would like to specifically thank and recognize the following for their excellent work: Nazri, Ismall, and everyone in the concierge services – grateful for all your help with our luggages and your assistance when getting into our rides; you are all very kind!! Aini and Ikmal from the front desk – most thankful for making our check-in and check-out very smooth, easy, and hassle-free; you clearly know your job well!! Gladys, Shidee, Mike, Vanessa, Elvina, and Valere from the Crystal Club – my family and I greatly appreciate your kindness, consistent attentiveness to everyone’s needs, and overall outstanding customer service. We enjoyed immensely the lounge’s very tasty and variety of food options in every meal! Ally from housekeeping – thank you for keeping our room clean and tidy everyday, and for making sure we always had enough towels; kudos for a job well done!! We will definitely stay at Grand Park City Hall again the next time we visit Singapore, my favority city on earth! Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!
