The staff were super friendly and the place was amazing with an incredible ambience. All the food was really good and the area is perfect to relax.

Cons:

There was no way to charge my electric car as the chargers require a special membership which I did not have and the hotel didn't have a card for them.

Cons:

Necessária alguma manutenção/reparação. Humidade no quarto, proveniente de uma fuga na banheira, lavatório entupido, chuveiro muiti-jato bastante deteriorado, funciona mal. Espreguiçadeiras da piscina “partidas”, com pouca segurança

Pros:

A beautiful location in a former monastery. The hotel has a lovely design, stunning mountain views, and is very peaceful and quiet. A good restaurant inside the hotel. The nearby town of Belmonte is charming and historic. Serra da Estrela is about an hour’s drive from the hotel.

Cons:

The staff can be quite slow, we had to wait up to 30 minutes for a drink ordered at the bar. It would also be nice to have bathrobes in the room.
