We booked for 3 guests and the hotel provided us with a room for a couple. They completely missed our reservation. Nobody at reception, nobody is picking the phone on the two numbers provided, nobody answers on booking.com (even 2 days later). Sofa doesn't unfold, no additional towels/sheets, had to sleep on the sofa with nothing on it. Absolutely outrageous for a 4 star hotel with such a price. Besides, the bed looks beautiful but the sheets were messed up, there were two small rubbish things left in the room, the shower is poorly designed and floods the entire bathroom, the shutters are broken. Horrible experience. Avoid at all costs.

Großes, geräumiges Zimmer in einem sehr schönen, alten Haus. Gutes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl.

Cons:

Leider war in der Badewanne sehr viel Schimmel und die Lüftung des Badezimmers hat in das Schlafzimmer geführt. Die Betten waren sehr weich und durchgelegen. Das dritte Bett war sehr instabil und unbequem. Es war sehr warm im Zimmer (keine Klimaanlage vorhanden) und die Fenster waren nur sehr schwer zu öffnen.

Pros:

A localização é boa, com fácil acesso a transporte público e relativamente próximo do centro. O quarto é espaçoso, limpo, banheiro limpo. A cama é espaçosa e confortável. Para chegar aos quartos há uma escada, mas o recepcionista foi muito gentil e me ajudou com a mala. Não tive a oportunidade de disfrutar do café da manhã como gostaria, porque precisei sair mais cedo, mas deixaram coisas gostosas (croissants) e saudáveis(ovo cozido e iogurte) no meu quarto (muito bom).

A única coisa negativa foi a chaleira elétrica, que não estava muito limpa

Un hôtel spacieux, extrêmement d’attention sur la deco, un lit hyper confortable avec vue sur le jardin. Un petit déjeuner compris dans le tarif et très copieux. Une place de parking gratuit dans Edinburgh, un plus.

La télécommande de la télé n’avait plus de piles mais cela reste un détail.

Snelle WiFi, warme kamer, moderne badkamer met grote douche.

Cons:

Dit hotel ligt nergens. Heel ver weg van alles. Er is ook geen receptie ´s avonds en ´s nachts. Porrage bij het ontbijt kennen ze niet. We werden ergens in de kelder op een kamer gezet. Alles is hier commercieel: betalende minibar op de kamer.
