Ein miserabler Auftakt für unseren Aufenthalt in Solothurn.

Wir bekamen ein Zimmer, in dem es brutal warm war, weil die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte. Ich rief die Reception an und bekam die Antwort, ich soll eine Stunde warten, dann werde es besser. Es wurde nicht besser. Dann hat man uns ein anderes Zimmer gegeben, eine Kategorie höher, sagte man mir. Die gleiche Enttäuschung. Auch im zweiten Zimmer funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht. Und inwiefern das Zimmer eine Kategorie höher hätte sein sollen, erschloss sich mir nicht. Ausser vielleicht, dass hier der Vorhang nicht kaputt war. Wir haben das Zimmer zurückgegeben und zogen in ein anderes Hotel.

Kaffemaschine rinnt, Vorhang leider ausgerissen und schliesst darum auch nicht ganz, Gutschein für ein Getränk eine super Idee leider kann man keinen Aperol dafür erhalten auch wenn man Aufpreis zahlt obwohl Riesenwerbung dafür gemacht wird in der Lounge

Wir mussten zwei mal einchecken bzw drei mal, sofern wir das online check in auch zählen. Es war ein Samstagnachmittag, eine mitarbeiterin anwesend, vor uns in der schlange noch ein paar, das check in dauerte fast 30min, es wurde behauptet, wir hätten drei zimmer gebucht und bezahlt. Eine davon sei eine suite, was ich abstritt, darauf ging man nicht ein. Als die zimmer bereit waren, erneut die Debatte üner drei zimmer. Und obwohl wir die suite gemäß angaben gebucht und bezahlt hatten, teilte man uns in die zwei doppelzimmer zu, die suite sei noch nicht bereit (um 17.00 Uhr)
Jemand von uns war verletzt. Ich habe nach Verbandsmaterial gefragt, ich erhielt zwei bereits abgeklebte pflaster, sonst hätte man nichts
An der bar haben wir 15min gewartet, drei angestellte standen rum, wir wurden nicht beachtet und gingen dann in eine andere bar
Das hotel ist eine Katastrophe... Die einzige positive begegnung war die Mitarbeiterin am sonntagmorgen an der reception

Pros:

Perfekte Lage, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, moderne Zimmer, Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Tipp an andere Gäste: Auto in Einstellhalle parkieren (wegen Vogelkot auf Aussenparkplätzen).

Optimales Hotel zur Erkundung von Solothurn
Pros:

Freundlicher und persönlicher Empfang. Hilfsbereitschaft bei Fragen und Wünschen bezüglich Aufenthalt und Zimmerausstattung. Wunderschöne Aussicht vom Zimmer zur Solothurner Altstadt mit der grossartigen Kathedrale. Ausgezeichnete Lage an der Aare und in unmittelbarer Nähe der Altstadt und des Bahnhofs. Auch mit dem Auto problemlos erreichbar.
