The swimming pool and garden area are very calm and beautiful. The swimming pool was reserved for a private event on the first day of our stay but we got upgraded to a beautiful room in the main house. The staff were really helpful and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The breakfast is in a beautiful room and was good. It is in the "newer" part of the town. To get into the old town you can easily walk but beware that the walk back to the hotel is uphill and in summer it can be a bit challenging in the heat!

Cons:

The building is a beautiful old palace. Because of this the noise from the stairwell echoed into our room. The air-conditioning worked well but seemed to turn off by itself in the middle of the night.

Pequeno almoço com opções de qualidade. A localização do hotel é muito boa. As recomendações foram muito úteis. A piscina e o jardim são muito bonitos.

Mais variedade no pequeno almoço (p.ex.: outras frutas, granola, outros tipo de pão, ovos mexidos ou estrelados, etc). A limpeza poderia ser mais cuidada.

Tutto, ho apprezzato soprattutto la cordialità e la cortesia di tutto lo staff. I prodotti di marca serviti per la colazione, e anche i gadget per il bagno. Pulizia e cambio asciugamani tutti i giorni. Ambiente molto rilassante con Giardini curati in ogni dettaglio. Lo consiglio a tutti.

Cons:

La mancanza dell'ascensore. Non è comunque un hotel per disabili.

Un piacevole soggiorno in una struttura affascinante e accogliente.
Pros:

Villa del Lauro è una struttura affascinante, ricca di storia, con uno splendido giardino e una piacevole e rilassante piscina. Era la seconda volta che vi soggiornavamo e le nostre aspettative sono state pienamente confermate. Abbiamo apprezzato tutti i servizi, dalla piscina alla colazione, ma soprattutto la disponibilità, la correttezza e l’attenzione verso gli ospiti dimostrate dal personale.
Viaggiando con due bambini piccoli, sentirsi ascoltati e ricevere prontamente aiuto quando necessario fa davvero la differenza. Del resto, la qualità di un albergo non si misura soltanto dall’assenza di inconvenienti, ma anche – e soprattutto – dal modo in cui vengono affrontati e risolti.
Torneremo sicuramente.

Pros:

Teníamos reservado el apartamento anexo al hotel y por un problema en la habitación nos cambiaron a una suite impresionante. El salón donde dan los desayunos una autentica maravilla, te lleva a la sicilia de antaño. La zona del jardín y piscina muy bonitas.

Magique mais ne dormez pas dans l’annexe

Pour notre deuxième séjour à Ragusa c’était une évidence de retourner dans cet hôtel tant l’endroit est magique.

Cons:

Mais si l’on vous propose l’annexe, fuyez ! 40 m2 sur l’annonce se transforme en chambre monacale de 10 m2. Trace d’humidité sur un mur, un seul cintre dans la penderie, rien pour accrocher ses serviettes dans la salle de bain. Un seul éclairage (pas de liseuse sur les tables de nuit). Aucune bouilloire ou machine à café…bref une vraie chambre d’ascète

Piękny, klimatyczny hotel w doskonałej lokalizacji. Cały obiekt jest bardzo zadbany, a ogród z basenem tworzy wspaniałe miejsce do wypoczynku. Śniadania były bardzo smaczne i serwowane w pięknej sali. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje przemiły pan obsługujący śniadania – zawsze uśmiechnięty, życzliwy i pomocny. Widać, że wkłada serce w swoją pracę. Cała obsługa była niezwykle uprzejma i sprawiła, że czuliśmy się bardzo mile widziani. Z przyjemnością tu wrócimy i gorąco polecamy!

Great hotel, very friendly staff, lovely views, excellent location and highly recommended.
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel situated in a great location. The rooms are clean, spacious and we also had a view of the old town, Ibla. Breakfast was fantastic, and the outdoor pool was a bonus.

About 3 minutes walk from the hotel and you can start to see the old town. There’s a great restaurant overlooking Ibla, but the walk down the hill is great. Get a local bus back up the hill though! It’s just €1.50.

Cons:

Only thing I would ask is to add tea & coffee to the room!

La villa è bella ma i servizi non sono da 4 stelle chiederei assolutamente il rimborso dei soldi che ho pagato

Chiesto upgrade in suite perché la camera al piano terreno era molto umida e senza finestre adeguate
Sono stato spostato in una suite pagando la differenza giustamente.
La sorpresa negativa è stata che la climatizzazione della camera era centralizzata e o si stava con un freddo insopportabile o con il caldo di agosto inaccettabile per un hotel che ha questi prezzi
La risposta alle mie lamentale a stata e così puntoinaccettabile anche perché i soldi li hanno presi subito mai più ed è la prima volta con Booking in cui mi trovo molto male
Abbiamo dormito con un caldo in camera assurdo
