Turgay the owner is extremely welcoming & helpful.
The location is great. It is close to a few metro stations, but we just walked in and out of the city.
We walked to the old town and downtown, each takes about 20mins.
A few doors down is a large Provigo supermarket which is very handy. There are also a few coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
The rooms were clean and tidy with massive TVs on the walls.
The beds were a bit soft, especially the fold out bed which our 14 year old slept on. It is probably not suitable for an adult.
The local area seemed a bit run down, but only a couple of streets away everything was clean and tidy and inkeeping with how we found the rest of Montreal.
At £426 GBP (790 CA$) per night for 5 people in a 2 bed apartment, it seemed quite pricey compared to other cities and hotels that we have stayed in, but it was the best value we could find during the F1 GP weekend.
We were able to bring our dogs. Staff was accommodating about late check out but we could not use due to inability to lock room door.
We were unaware of Parc Suites exact location when we booked. It was in a very sketchy area and we were concerned all night long (thus did not sleep) about our car being broken in to. Also, we could not lock the door unless we were inside the room. So, we could not leave the room unless one of us was in it. Bathroom also had dirty towels and hair in the shower/tub. DISGUSTING! Honestly, this goes down as one of the worst rooms we have stayed in a long time.
I liked Targay, the owner. He is very personable, funny, attentive, easily reachable.
I liked the set up, the little patio out back, everything was very clean.
I did not like that you had to run the water in the tub for ~4mins to get hot water elsewhere in the room. I did not like that the door to the room DID NOT close, let alone lock. Anyone could have went into our room (#8). We paid $425/night in May. I did not think it was good value for what we paid. I know it's an old building in the city and many upgrades had been done, but the door is biggest drawback for me. It was not secure at all while we were not in it.
The host and his team were absolutely lovely. The place is in the city where it’s 20 mins away from both old Montreal and Jean talon markets. Perfect middle ground.
The host (Turguay) and his staff were wonderfully friendly and hospitable. From the time of booking to checkout, we received excellent and timely service. Turguay went the extra mile to help us with all aspects of our stay, including parking and luggage storage. The place was impeccably clean and perfectly located for all of our walks around the city.
It wasn't a problem for us, but our room was on the top floor - so lots of stairs. Help was readily available to move bags, but people with mobility issues would be challenged.
Personnel très attentif à nos besoins, grande chambre, bien placé et à proximité de beaucoup de choses
Clean, comfortable and spacious
Very small issue but the blind in the living room was broken meaning light was let in when sleeping in the living area. However, this is an easy fix and didn't really impact on our stay.
L'emplacement
Fourmi dans la chambre et personnel invicible
A place with character: older building, the interior nicely renovated although not luxurious in any way. Very clean with a traditional-looking, functional bathroom. Kitchenette was very compact, microwave worked well and there was a full size oven/stovetop that was clean, one of four burners not functioning. Warming up food and cooking basics possible. The mattress was firm but comfortable.
For older or disabled clients it should be noted that access to rooms requires climbing a lot of stairs. Unlike the photos on the website, our room did not have a table where one could sit and eat. The worst problem was noise transmitted from room above us that kept us awake 2 nights running. However, finally making a call at 3 am to the number provided did result in action by the night manager which improved this markedly.
Although the window was large, could be opened, and looking out on a back alley roofscape - interesting to some, but lots of cigarette butts and dead plants in pots. Was probably attractive last summer.,
Bien situé, bien équipé
Stationnement non sécuritaire
Great location. Owner was very kind and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a weekend in Montreal
The room is quaint.
The toilet was noisy all night long. We were looking out at a mess on a roof top. There was no shampoo/conditioner.
Bon accueil, tranquille et bien placé.
Un peu vieillot et escaliers assez abrupts, attention avec les valises.
Muy céntrico y acogedor. Super amables.
Nada. Todo estaba perfecto.
