Charming hotel in Le Marais.
Pros:

Location was great. Close to Notre Dame cathedral. Not in the touristy area but close to lots of restaurants and cafes. Loved that we had a terrace.

Cons:

Size. We got a smaller room to save $$ but next time we'll spend more$$ for a bigger room. There were no face cloths for washing your face. Not sure if this isn't customary in France ( as our hotel in Nice doesnt have them either).

Hotel de Turrene
Pros:

Hotel is past its prime; room was absurdly tiny.

That said, George the concierge makes it all worthwhile with his caring and personal touch — he’s terrific !

Great hotel in the Marais
Pros:

My daughter, sister and I stayed at Hotel Turenne Le Marais from May 10- 16, 2026. We loved the hotel for its clean and well decorated room, the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The location was wonderful. Close to the Picasso Museum, Place des Voges. Easy access to bus line. Grocery stores, bank, cafes, shops less than a block away. It was quiet and we really appreciated the breakfast. Great coffee, fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs, yogurt, fruit, cheese and meats. We highly recommend and hope to return.

Posizione ottima, vicino a moltissimi ristoranti e comoda anche per i mezzi di trasporto. Staff molto cordiale e sempre pronto a consigli. Nota di merito: acqua gratuita e disponibile tramite refill h24.

Cons:

Camera piccolina, non era possibile tenere aperto il piccolo trolley che avevamo con noi. Gli scuri non si chiudevano bene e una delle prese vicino al letto era non funzionante. Le piccole imperfezioni ci sono sempre ma visto il costo dell’hotel, il rapporto qualitá/prezzo non è adeguato.

Unreliable Hotel - Sold my room to someone else and gave me one week's notice
Pros:

This hotel does not honor its reservation policy. I reserved for the night of May 9th, the day before we were flying out from a three-week trip in France. One week before we were supposed to check in, they sent me an email that my reservation was cancelled. I immediately reached out and they claimed I had not provided a credit card to guarantee the reservation. If you reserve on their web site, you CANNOT reserve without providing a valid credit card. I had provided a valid credit card, same one I provided to the various lovely hotels I stayed in for three weeks in France. What I feel occurred here is this was the Victory Day weekend celebration and this hotel had the opportunity to make more money renting both Friday and Saturday rather than just Saturday to us and booted us out. This is extremely poor business policy and caused us to have to really scramble to find a place at the very last minute. I would avoid a hotel with such poor ethics and business policies.
