I've stayed here several times before. The hotel has had an excellent recent makeover earlier this year. This hotel meets my requirements exactly . Clean, quiet and well run. Breakfasts are exactly what I require but if you are from Britain it may not be to your taste. (No English breakfast but restaurants in the same street can do this). The staff are wonderful, chatty and helpful. Close to the station in Arroyo. Reasonable walk down hill to Benalmadena. Not that far from the famous Bonanza Square but it is uphill on the way back. There are a good range of low to high range restaurants very close by. I can especially recommend going for a drink in the nearby Fountain Square (It has other names what can cause a wee bit of confusion). Very very pleasant in the evening. The train to Malaga can be very busy but the crush is worth it. Fantastic range of Museums there. Get an Andalusia travel card from the station which will make the use of local buses and trains easy. My only travel hack is take a taxi to and from the airport. The trains are so busy it's a challenge to get on/off at the airport.
Nothing in particular. Can be busy with school parties staying there. My only complaint, which I suspect may be a generic Spanish thing, is that you need to provide your own plus for your sink. Beware.
Friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. Perfect shower. No noise and a great balcony.

Pero no me afectó en absoluto, me gustó todo. Simplemente, hay aspectos que aún se pueden mejorar.
Clean place, good facilities
Great central location. Near buses, station, bars, restaurants and shops. Fully refurbished to a high standard. Lovely staff. Nice terrace and bar area. Clean.
Pillows a bit hard.
The location its perfect. Close to shops and restaurants. Only 18 min to the beach. We checked in early than 3 pm. was around 1pm.
The room did not look like the pictures shown online. It was clearly not the same room as advertised. The advertised room had wallpaper and looked freshly renovated, but the room we received was old and outdated.
The floor was dirty and had not been properly cleaned. My wife even took the mop from the hallway and cleaned the floor herself. When she returned the mop, the cleaning lady asked aggressively what had happened. This made us feel very uncomfortable.
Many basic items were missing from the room, including a hair dryer, iron, kettle, and glasses.
Also, the breakfast table was completely empty and did not look anything like the photos advertised. We had almost nothing on the table, which was very disappointing.
When my wife came down for breakfast, she politely asked for one extra slice of bread. Later, when I went to eat, I was told that my wife had already eaten my portion of bread. I found this embarrassing and unprofessional. Guests should feel welcome and treated with respect.
Sadly, we did not feel welcomed during our stay. We honestly felt that because we are Romanian, we were not treated with the same kindness and respect as other guests.
Overall, the experience was far below expectations and did not match what was advertised online.
