Emplacement, accueil entrée-sortie, literie, petit déjeuner, la déco soignée. Le qualité du service est digne d’un grand hôtel. Bravo.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The room was both air conditioned and had a fan. The fridge was good, and water bottles with unlimited refills from reception were appreciated. All in all, a good experience and somewhere we would return.

Beautiful hotel really lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good and location was perfect. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Amazing design, clean. Beautiful location

Das Hotel überzeugt mit modernen Design. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber dafür sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist zentral, Altstadt, Strand und der Bahnhof sind in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal war immer bemüht und sehr freundlich, konnten auch in der Garage parken gegen Aufpreis.

Very close to main town but far enough away from the noise. Stylish hotel with very friendly staff. All three receptionist we encountered had excellent customer service and made our stay very enjoyable

Fantastic location on a mostly tree lined square with other pretty buildings and the pre-historic Museum at end of the square. Hotel Gabriel is situated in the colourfully gorgeous old town Menton, a short walking distance from Menton train station as well as providing easy access to all the shops . Easy walk to any of the many close by restaurants for meals, quite close to places of interest in the old-town like the pre-historic museum right next to the hotel, Basilique St Michel, Cimetière du Vieux Château(which offers the best views of Menton all the way to Italy one way and to Roquebrune the other) - to mention but a few.

The hotel building itself is lovely to look at on the outside, with well decorated rooms, clean spaces and facilities on the inside. I especially loved our room balcony overlooking the square which made for really good views/people watching both day and night. Good air-conditioning for the heat, very comfortable beds and pillows, as well as a steady supply of drinking water from reception, using eco friendly glass bottles which greatly minimises single-use plastic waste.

All staff and the owner of the hotel were utterly incredible. Always cheerful, polite and willing to help. Their competent command of the English language was a great help to me as my French is non-existent and their communication was impeccable. We were two female friends on this trip and whether alone or together in the hotel or the town in general, we felt completely safe at all times. I did not witness any disordered smoking/drinking or any other types of anti-social behaviour at the hotel.

The city has my heart and staying in this lovely hotel was a huge part of why I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in Menton. This is an excellent base for exploring the parts of the French Riviera, Monaco and parts of Italy too. I’d not only highly recommend both Hotel Gabriel and Menton but would definitely return for a visit in future.

Hotel Gabriel is an outstanding place to stay and played a major role in making our stay in Menton so great.
• Superb location, just a few minutes from the beaches and the main street, yet the place itself is very quiet.
• The room is great - clean, fresh-looking, with a wonderful atmosphere. The light is incredible.
• The air conditioning is really good - you always come back to a fresh room.
• Very comfortable beds and pillows.
• Great reception staff, always ready to help.
• Very good breakfast.
• Cold still or sparkling water available.
I can say more and more good things this place deserved it non stopping.
Our overall impression of Hotel Gabriel is fantastic. This is a place I hope to come back to next year.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits en août à l'hôtel Gabriel, et c'était un très beau séjour !
L'emplacement est parfait, calme et en centre ville à la fois. La décoration est superbe, jolie et design et aussi colorée que la ville. Tout le personnel est adorable ! Un grand merci à tout l'équipe aussi bien à l'accueil qu'au petit déjeuner, pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils.
Le petit déjeuner est un peu cher mais vaut le coup car très varié, délicieux et beaucoup de choses sont faîtes maison !
Si nous revenons à Menton, ce sera dans cet hôtel c'est certain ! 😄
