Spacious and cozy hotel that is true to its name.
Pros:

Location is excellent if you have to use the Alicante train station – two pedestrian crossings and you are at the doorstep of the hotel. If you arrive by plane and take the C-6 bus, you can either hop off at the bus station and walk the walk of 1 km or either continue the ride round the city and hop off at the same train station, whichever you prefer. For those who like walking, the distance to the Explanada or the beach would truly be at a sweet spot.

The room and the balcony were spacious and you find plenty of coffee and tea packets.

The people at the reception were very warm and welcoming.

Cons:

Plumbing was quite loud and we had to listen to water running once someone flushed somewhere above the ceiling.

Buffet breakfast is pretty modest, but that might be how they do it in Spain. From my observations, most of the guests were Spaniards and had traditional continental breakfast, what might be the explanation.
