End of August but the room feels like an oven, it's really hot. One small blower available in the room with a lot of dust on it. No fly screen in the window so you have the choice of getting the room colder and getting all sorts of flying bugs or keep the window closed and the room stays hot. Bathroom is descent but again ventilation is lacking so it becomes a sauna after a shower not helping your room get colder. In resume ventilation is the biggest issue. With good ventilation 3.75 out of 5. But in current state I would say 3 out of 5. Not a summer room.

Pas de hamam contrairement à ce qui était indiqué.
Le sauna n’était pas en état de fonctionnement, on nous a indiqué qu’ un technicien allait passer, on l’attend toujours…

Desde nuestra terraza se veia el Mont Blanc. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien y las instalaciones en general muy buenas.
Venue en week-end pour visiter et pour un concours de bûcheron, nous avons séjourné et mangé dans ce merveilleux établissement. Un grand merci à tout le personnel qui a pris soin de nous. Nous avons également mangé au restaurant, un délice du début à la fin, je recommande et nous reviendrons dès que possible.

The restaurant meals were good, and good value.
We have visited the Auberge de l'Orangerie several times, and in the past were impressed by the reception and service. This time, not so good. For instance, our room on the first floor of the reception building was reached by a staircase without a handrail. I am 80 and my wife 79, and descending such a stair with heavy luggage is difficult and even dangerous for us. At our departure I asked reception for help carrying our cases down. and was told 'we do not have a luggage porter'. So I asked if the young man in the restaurant could do it, and was told I should wait until breakfast finished an hour and a half later. This was entirely unacceptable to us, as our schedule demanded an immediate departure.
