The bathroom seemed to have some
fancy shower stuff in it but would have been useful to have a little explanation of what it was and how it worked as we were left a bit baffled!
Central -east walking to everything. Delightful and helpful owner, spacious room charmingly decorated. Very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom and sitting room. Decor wonderful - very old and interesting building, beautiful dining room and bar. Can’t say a bad word about it and it excelled our expectations. Castle wonderful - very impressive and we learned a lot. Walking distance from hotel. Oh yes, breakfasts are fantastic - every taste catered for. Really lovely. Parking easy.

L’atmosphère de l’hôtel est magnifique.La gentillesse et la bienveillance de Régis et Georges se font sentir dans tous les domaines. En tant qu’hôte dans cet établissement on se sent bien entouré.
L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal: Dans le vieux centre de Saumur niché dans une petite ruelle derrière l’Eglise St Pierre à deux pas de la place St Pierre très animée. Dans cet hôtel, c’est comme on entre dans un monde magique du moyen âge.
C’est un hôtel familial, ça se ressent. Régis a pris les relais de son père Georges. Régis, le propriétaire a eu la gentillesse de me surclasser à cause de mon anniversaire. La chambre était très belle avec les meubles anciens et une salle de bain très classe.
Le petit déjeuner, aimablement servi par Georges, sort de l’ordinaire. Ce repas contient des petits délices sucrés et salés et mêmes des petites surprises. Servi jusqu’à 10h30, bien apprécié par les hiboux de la nuit.
Le Château de Saumur est très proche de l’hôtel. Comme un vrai château de conte de fée, il se dresse au-dessus de Saumur, et de certaines chambres il y a une superbe vue vers le château. L’Abbaye de Fontevraud, le demeure des moniales depuis des siècles, est à 15 km de Saumur.
J’ai adoré mon séjour à l’hôtel Saint Pierre Boutique- Hôtel. J’ai prolongé de deux nuits supplémentaires, et j’ai décidé de revenir pour le marché de Noël.
