The location was good near city center. The staff were friendly. The room was ok.
The breakfast was ok but was missing fresh vegetables. In the bathroom was only one 1 hook for towels. Especially bathroom was a bit worn.
Hotel is central to everything, v clean, mins from train station. Reasonable priced. We had two rooms as travelling with adult children. Everything you need is there. Balcony. It was my birthday while there and staff decorated the bed with rose petals and the towels in shape of swans. V sweet. We stayed 2 nights at start of our holiday as arrived late, had great night on the town, lovely ramble around the next day then got the ferry to the beach area. Restaurants excellent that night. Stayed also last night of the holiday as we were flying out from faro. Best idea, had another great day and evening. Glad we hadn't bypassed faro as we loved it. Would definitely come back again if travelling through faro airport.
Only thing missing was a mirror in the bedroom. Frustrating.
Hotel was great for short stay,.
Breakfast, location & very pleasant helpful staff.
Some coffee making facilities
Le personnel était super. On a tout fait pour nous faire passer un séjour dans de bonne condition
The location was amazing. Everything you would want to visit whether that be the sights, cafes/restaurants, shops and the old town, was within 10-15 mins walk. Also is a great location that is close to meeting points for many day tours e.g. algarve tours, boat trips, etc.
The bed was very comfortable - I was a solo traveller and got a double bed which was really nice. The room and bathroom were always clean. The shower had great power and easy-to-use heating settings. Also provided bath gel and shampoo which was handy.
The TV was great as you could log in to your Youtube, Netflix accounts - it wasn't just regular TV channels which is usually the case in hotels and I know myself and many others do prefer to watch Netflix, etc.
The staff were lovely. There was one girl I saw the majority of my stay (I forgot to get her name) as she worked in the afternoon and she made me feel so welcome as she would chat to me when I got back from my days out. Also having a 24 hour reception open makes you feel safe and comfortable if you ever needed help with anything.
The only negative was the balcony doors being left open by the cleaning staff daily. I understand that this was most likely to let air into the room, but they should ensure to close it after cleaning. As a female solo traveller who would return later in the evening, I would realise after a while that the balcony door was left wide open. I understand that this area is not particularly unsafe in any way but just to ensure travellers on their own would feel safer.
I also realised that one of the balcony doors was not locking properly at night which made me feel uneasy (even in what ended up being a safe area). Fortunately when I informed a member of staff, they ensured someone came to fix the door the following day which put me at ease.
La situation de l'hôtel, proche du centre ville, des commerces, des restaurants, de la gare.
Quelques résidents un peu bruyants après minuit.
Sehr zentral gelegen. Preis Leistung war absolut stimmig
Lokalizacja, dobra kawa do śniadania, kontakt z obsługą.
Pokoje mało wyciszone.
La proximité avec le centre, la propreté.
Rien
Nice small hotel in Faro. We arrived late at night, and check-in was easy. The staff was friendly, and we were able to park our car in the hotel's garage (for €10 per night). They provided a baby cot for our daughter free of charge. Breakfast (€10 per person) was simple but tasty, and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio.
Our room was very small and quite noisy, as it faced a busy street. Parking in the garage was challenging because the entrance is very narrow and the columns are awkwardly positioned. The courtyard could have been a lovely place to relax, but it would need some update. Neither this hotel nor the town of Faro is a place we would choose to visit again, but for a one-night stay, it was ok.
