Cleanliness
9.2
Consistently praised across reviews: rooms and bathrooms described as very clean, linens/towels frequently renewed and overall high standards of cleanliness.
Service
9
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming and helpful (reception recovered left passports, manager praised); a few mentions of limited English but overall service is a strong positive.
Location
8.4
Mixed but generally good: several guests appreciated proximity to town/bus stop and walkability to the old city; some noted it is away from the town centre or not the most convenient spot.
Room Quality
7.4
Mixed reports: some guests found rooms and bathrooms modern and good, others reported dated rooms, bad smells, missing sockets, absent TV, lukewarm water at times and an overly warm mattress topper.
Amenities
7.6
Basic on-site amenities: bar/restaurant and parking are available (parking free but limited and spaces narrow). However several guests noted no evening meals on some days or limited restaurant service.
Value for Money
8.2
Generally seen as good value for a budget/chain hotel: guests described the price/quality ratio as correct and suitable for short stays.
Food and Beverage
7.8
Breakfast frequently praised as good, plentiful and varied; evening meals described as tasty when available but restaurant is basic and closed or not serving some evenings, which disappointed several guests.

8
Overall positive stays for many thanks to cleanliness, friendly staff and decent breakfast, tempered by occasional disappointments (restaurant closed evenings, room mismatches or maintenance issues).

OK but wrong hotel
Cons:

We booked it as it had a restaurant, unfortunately I didn’t check so was surprised to find it didn’t serve evening meals. If I had realised that then I wouldn’t have booked it

Excellent
Pros:

Good quality modern hotel, facilities and room/bathroom. Basic bar/restaurant for supper and breakfast. Away from the town centre, with off-street parking behind the hotel.
Very good service from reception staff who noticed our left-behind passports, contacted us and kept them safe. We're very grateful for that.

Rapport qualité/prix correct
Pros:

Petit déjeuner

Cons:
