Lovely stay in this Hotel. Perfect for exploring the Douro region. Across the road from the train station made travellin
Pros:

Great location. Staff were really good. Check in was very quick.

Cons:

It’s a little bit dated but it was clean. First day at the pool we never got cushions for the sun lounger. Make sure to ask because they aren’t readily available

Situation au bord du Douro, chambres spacieuses, calme, parking privé, petit dejeuner ok

Cons:

L'hotel est encore confortable mais le besoin de renovation/restauration est urgent.

Pros:

Reception staff were excellent. The view from our balcony overlooking the river was wonderful; and the room itself was comfortable and had good air-conditioning.
The pool was welcome as the temperature was heading towards the 40s but kept shorter hours than expected (10.30 to 18.30).
Good choice for breakfast and nice that the restaurant was on the top floor so, again, good views.
