Location and friendly staff
Excellent location in the Latin Quarter within easy walking distance to many sites and eateries. What one would expect in an upscale small boutique hotel, quiet ambiance, small spaces to relax and enjoy the moments, welcoming & helpful staff, clean & well kept all around. Room was quiet, clean, and well air-conditioned. Very close walk to Le Villages de Ronsard, La Maison d'Isabella, and the local market that we highly recommend to begin your day. For real, the best croissants! Don't skip the Pantheon just a couple blocks away from Hotel Saint-Jacques. It was truly a surprise and we spent a few hours there learning with the audio guide.
Perfect location.
We were on the sixth floor but the lift only goes to the fifth floor. This was only an issue on arrival and departure when we had our cases. Other than that it was fine.

I use this hotel every time I am in Paris - luckily every other month. The rooms are very nice, and the personnel and location (at the heart of the 5th arrondissement) unbeatable! An excellent choice no matter what is the reason of your visit.
This was my family’s 3rd visit to the Saint Jacques, and there is a reason we return. The hotel has a perfect French atmosphere with a staff that treats you like family. The intimate atmosphere of this quaint boutique hotel will let you know you are truly in Paris.
Our stay at Hotel Saint Jacques made our trip to Paris truly special. I was traveling with 3 generations of women in my family - my mother, myself, and my 2 daughters. The staff went above and beyond to help us in every way. The hotel is a charming, historic building, which we prefer over staying in a chain hotel while in the beautiful city of Paris. It was my third time staying at Hotel Saint Jacques, and I would stay there again.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful and the food we ordered via room service was delicious.
Well, there was a building site in front of the hotel and they often started work shortly after 7am but I understand as they hoped to avoid the heat!
Perfect location - very friendly staff - very cute place in the Latin Quarter with many convenient places with a block or two away.
Room just a bit too small for our liking for today's modern travelers. Couples have to do a ballet around one another especially on an extended stay. But hey it was fun dance - we laughed as we shook our heads at times.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our family. Cute & quaint older property that had a lot of charm. Walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and landmarks in Paris.
Although not a dealbreaker, the elevator was very small and barely fit two people at a time which took awhile for our family of 6 to get back and forth to our rooms. So we usually just took the stairs.
My wife and I spent days at your wonderful hotel this June and could not be more grateful and appreciative of your staff and facility! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, our room was large enough for our stay and kept clean constantly and unobtrusively. Your breakfast was a delight - fresh, tasty, and varied each day. If we are ever lucky enough to head back to Paris, we will definitely be staying with you again. Thank you!
