Now in the T’s and C’s on guest confirmation it states that guests do not pay a damage deposit. We need to change this to state: A physical credit card must be presented at check-in for pre-authorization for any extras or incidentals

Very nice and helpful Staff. The building has a grandeur appearance but service quality should be better.

Probably would stay there again if part of a golf group and had a room with a window/balcony.
Pros:

The location is good.

Cons:

The room which I paid a top rate for was on the third floor. These rooms have skylights and no windows that you can look out of . Very disspointing when normally there is a lovely view from the window.
We were not able to sit in the bar due to large golf groups . The breakfast was choatic with everything running out all the time due to the large groups.

Cons:

Elongated layout meant a long trek to get to bedroom and other locations. Breakfast shambolic with insufficient staff. Main dining room unavailable for an evening meal between 7-9. Shunted off to the Hunnington Grill where there was no buzz as only two other tables were occupied. Again understaffed. Food reasonable

Spacious, clean hotel with ample parking.
Pros:

The bedroom & bathroom were large with balcony . Bed comfortable . Good air con which was effective on a really hot night.
Dinner was excellent and beautifully presented.

Cons:

The restaurant was extremely hot . ( The weather was extremely hot ) . The waiter was very helpful placing a big cooling fan near us but maybe with expected rising temperatures a more effective air con system should be installed.
Other than that , very happy with our stay.
