Poloha
Ubytují zvířata, ale nesmí do restaurace. Kam ho mám dát, když jdu na snídani? Nechat na pokoji? V cizím prostředí? To určitě ne.
Fridge in the room
Perfect location
No AC in the room but loud fan instead
Hotel needs a bit of renovation (removal of the thick green carpet, bigger wash basin)
Location inside the old city walls but the hotel is very 21:st century, modern rooms, stairways, elevators. Just step outside the hotel and start experience the wonderful town of Rothenburg
Breakfast was a bit pricy so I opted for a nearby café instead
Super locatie, dichtbij parkeren. Mooie ruime kamer (familiekamer) kids waren dol enthousiast over het hemelbed. Lekker ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel
The hotel was modern ad lovely, located within the walls of the old town and not too far of a walk to main town area. The room was comfortable, spacious, well decorated, clean and most importantly for us well lit. The bathroom was well lit as well, walk in shower. Plenty of room to store our things. Had fridge in room, TV with some English channels, mainly news channels. Beds and pillows were very clean and comfortable. We did not have a view, only view of roof, but we were ok with it since we had to open the window to let cool air in. No AC but was nice temps in May and cool in evening so ok with us.
On arrival, we parked in front of hotel to check in and unload. The name of hotel was on wall right in front of parking spaces so we assumed it was hotel parking. When we walked in the attendant asked where we parked and she told us we could not park there and only had two hours there. She told us where to park, outside of city gate but not a far walk. Cost wasn't as issue for it was 6.60 Euros for the 24 hr period. However, neither my husband or I remember her saying anything about having to pay for the 2 hrs in front of hotel so when we checked out, my husband went to get the car to load up and when we returned to the car we had a 20 Euro ticket! My husband went in to talk to the desk clerk, Tamara, to find out why we had been given a ticket. She explained that we should have bought a parking permit to allow us to park for 2 hrs there from a machine nearby which we didn't even see. We were not happy campers for getting the ticket but also how we were going to pay it. The good thing was Tamara offered to go to the Municipality when it was opened to pay the ticket for us. We left her the 20 Euros along with the ticket and thanked her for offering to do it. The hotel should have a sign up or give guests written info on buying a ticket to park for the 2 hrs. Other than that we loved the place.
