Pros:

The staff I talked with was really nice. It was mostly comfortable. It was clear that someone has tried to make it look and feel nice. There was glass battles with water :)

Cons:

There were a few questionable choices. LED strips that turn on if you walk past them and you can't turn off - great for waking yourself well during the night or waking your partner. Probably our bad, but we didn't notice that the shower area offers no privacy.

Furthermore, there was a tea kettle, but no tea cups and breakfast was not the same for both people and it seems you couldn't select it, but it was using a bunch of plastic...

Comfortabele kamer,maar de dienstverlening en het ontbijt vallen sterk tegen.We voelden ons misleid!
Pros:

Kamer en locatie: uitstekend
De kamer was heel comfortabel en ruim, en het hotel ligt in een mooie, goede buurt van de stad. De faciliteiten en de directe omgeving voldeden volledig aan onze verwachtingen.

Cons:

Dienstverlening: teleurstellend
Helaas was de dienstverlening een groot probleem. Aan de receptie zat elke dag iemand anders, met wisselende vriendelijkheid – van behulpzaam tot heel bot. We hingen tweemaal het ‘Niet storen’-kaartje aan de deur om de kamer te laten opruimen, maar tijdens ons 5-daagse verblijf is de kamer nooit opgeruimd of gepoetst. Dat was echter nog niet het grootste issue.
Ontbijt: misleidende informatie
De foto’s en beschrijvingen van het ontbijt op de boekingssite en in eerdere beoordelingen kloppen helemaal niet meer. Na onze klacht gaf het hotel toe dat ze de formule enkele weken geleden hadden gewijzigd. Het ‘ontbijt’ bleek extreem beperkt: 1 croissant, 1 stuk fruit, 1 yoghurtje en 1 flesje water of fruitsap. Voor deze minimale portie mag je zeker geen ontbijtprijs aanrekenen. Dit voelt als oneerlijke praktijken.
Geluidsoverlast: slechte isolatie
De buurt is weliswaar rustig, maar de geluidsisolatie in het hotel is slecht. We hoorden urenlang piano spelen of afspelen bij de buren, en onder ons raam waren terrassen en feestjes die voor overlast zorgden.
Conclusie: niet aan te raden voor ontbijtliefhebbers of rustzoekers
Als je op zoek bent naar een goed en uitgebreid ontbijt (er is geen ontbijtruimte, buffet of à la carte – je eet op de kamer) of rust, is dit hotel niet geschikt. Gelukkig zijn er wel leuke ontbijtadresjes op 10 à 15 minuten lopen.
Eindoordeel: Mooie locatie en comfortabele kamer, maar de dienstverlening en het ontbijt vallen sterk tegen. We voelden ons misleid.

Good location, beautiful rooms
Pros:

The place is in a good location with lots of restaurants and cafes and near Doctors Garden.

Cons:

The bathtub drain was not closing properly so couldn’t use it, which is a shame. The hotel reception doesn’t work after 9pm. Had problems to get inside the hotel. Other than that, everything was pleasant

Pros:

Хотелът е с много удобна локация в един от най-хубавите райони на София. Бяхме в апартамент Wild pears с голямо легло, предвердие с люлка, огромна баня, камина и тераса. Имаше кафе машина, а закуската се носи в стаята.

Cons:

В района паркирането е много трудно, а хотелът няма паркинг. В съседната сграда има ресторант, чиято аспирация беше шумна и се чуваше в стаята. Все пак спря около 22.30 ч.

Disappointing experience
Pros:

I had an extremely disappointing stay at Oborishte 63 Boutique Hotel.

The first room I was placed with had clearly been occupied by smokers, though I was assured the place was smoke-free. It was only after I insisted that my clothes would smell of cigarettes if I stayed there that I was able to move to a much smaller, but at least more neutral smelling room.

The receptionist I had the most interactions with (that’s when he wasn’t asleep behind the desk with his hoodie pulled over his face or hanging out in the lobby scrolling on his phone) clearly hated his job and expressed his contempt for guests every time I spoke to him. Any query however reasonable (Did the hotel have an umbrella I could borrow? What was the hotel’s wifi password? Could he help with a room code that was no longer working?) was met with open annoyance at his having to, well, do the job of a receptionist. (His behaviour was so overtly rude that his much friendlier and more professional colleague felt compelled to apologise on his behalf.)

Having paid over €120 a night, I felt like the victim of a scam. Breakfast in particular was poor, consisting of a brown paper bag placed outside the door to my room at 8am containing a piece of fruit, a pot of yoghurt, a croissant and a small bottle of water - a far cry from the “scrumptious” spread that had been advertised.

Few plus points: great location with lots of nice places to eat nearby and comfortable bed
