Superb attention to detail, lovely styling, quality of service, staff’s welcome, comfort of bed, delicious breakfast and extra touches that were so thoughtful in terms of communal areas, and even gifts…
The room was v comfortable and clean and so well presented but compact so could be an issue if staying any length of time. Maybe they are different sizes? I think we had the smallest having looked at the map on the emergency exit information…we were in the annex, la maison which was great.
It was very clean and the bed and pillows could not have been more comfortable. The showers were fabulous.
Luke was exceptional and went out of his way to assist us even down to finding adapter plugs for charging phones. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only one small issue were a couple of fly’s in the reception/breakfast area which I done think anything could be done. This didn’t stop our enjoyment of the stay.

Port Vieux in Biarritz for my friend’s birthday trip. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome and cared for. The hotel met all of my expectations and truly made our stay special.
The breakfast was delicious, and we absolutely loved the unlimited coffee and tea available 24/7 — such a thoughtful touch! The rooms were beautiful, with attention to detail that made everything feel cozy and elegant. The linens and towels were especially high quality and added to the comfort of our stay.
A very special thank you to Carla, Thibaud, Luc, and their intern Solenne for always welcoming us with smiles, kindness, and genuine care throughout our visit.
We also accidentally booked rooms in separate buildings, but we wanted to stay together. Thibaud made the whole process incredibly smooth and helped us change the room arrangement without any stress. We really appreciated his help and professionalism.
Merci beaucoup to the entire Alfred Hotels team for making our stay in Biarritz so memorable. We would absolutely love to come back!
