Pros:

The location and the view of Lake Brienz was amazing! The staff was ultra helpful and the cleaners did a great job keeping the rooms clean.

Cons:

The rooms were dated but very functional. Also there was no refrigerator.

Beautiful room, clean, spacious, comfy bed with friendly staff! What else do you need?
Pros:

We stayed in the chalets and it was beautiful! It was very close to the Brienz West station (7 min walk) which we used to travel back and forth to Interlaken area by train. We also took the boat across Brienz to Isetwald. We loved that Brienz was so quiet and charming! The hotel restaurant was overlooking the brilliant lake with great service and breathtaking views! We didn’t have time for breakfast (although it looked fantastic) because of a jam packed itinerary but they were nice enough to give us a coffee to go! The hotel was clean, spacious and lovely!! The beds were comfy and the decor so cute!
Highly recommend this stay!!

Cons:

It was difficult to take our luggage up the stairs to get to the chalets. The ceiling is a bit low and it was a little noisy when the people above us came home. Would maybe have liked screens on windows as it was very hot (with no air conditioning) and concerned about critters coming in the open windows. Maybe would have liked coffee/tea in room as Brienz was VERY quiet at 7:00am! Minor inconveniences to be fair.

Chambre double supérieure très grande et calme.
Magnifique terrasse pour le repas du soir dans le Weisse Kreuz, de l'autre côté de la route (mêmes propriétaires, surplombant le lac de Brienz. Excellent repas poisson.

The views from the balcony were gorgeous.

Cons:

They were very stingy with towels and pillows despite paying for two rooms that can accommodate four people. There were two of us and we got exactly two thin towels and pillows. The street is very noisy with windows open.

What I liked most about the hotel was its beautiful location by the lake. The view from the room was lovely and made the stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and offered plenty of space to relax. Waking up to the scenery and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The reception staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They were always polite and willing to assist whenever we had a question. Their warm attitude made us feel comfortable and well looked after from the moment we arrived.

Cons:

There were a few things I did not particularly like during my stay. The pillows were very large and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The hair dryer seemed quite old and would stop working after about a minute because it overheated. I did not report it during my stay, so the hotel might have been able to resolve the issue if I had mentioned it.

The room did not include complimentary water, nor were there tea and coffee-making facilities such as a kettle, which would have been appreciated.

The bathtub was quite high and slippery. Adding a non-slip mat or safety feature could help prevent accidents.

Finally, we only asked for a fork from the hotel, but unfortunately they were unable to provide one. While this was a small request, it would have been helpful if basic utensils were available for guests.

Pros:

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Lage direkt am See ist einfach herrlich. Das Frühstückbuffet war klein aber fein, völlig ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Die Lage direkt am See bedeutet auch, dass das Hotel direkt an der Hauptstrasse liegt. Das kann zu Verkehrslärm im Zimmer führen, was je nach Lage des Zimmers ein geöffnetes Fenster unmöglich macht.
