Last minute booking
Pros:

Location atop a hill, where a plateau was formed from previous stone quarry work, that overlooked a bend in the River Rhein with views of local towns. I sat for 4 hours at my table, watching the daylight fade and the evening lights start to glow from across the river. Dunkel Bier and an absolutely delicious Steak and dessert concluded my eventful day

Cons:

Trying to find the Hotel. My SatNav stated I had arrived....20 minutes later, I parked the car outside the Hotel. For future travellers, turn right at the T Junc, go under the Railway line and on the left hand bend, the road leading to the Hotel is on the right. Serves me right for following the SatNav!

Alleen interessant als je minder valide bent.
Pros:

Het is een accommodatie die is toegedicht op minder validen. Het uitzicht vanaf het buitenterras op de Rijn is prachtig.

Cons:

De kamer is redelijk. Wat verouderd, maar voldoet. Geen gratis flesje water, je moet gewoon betalen. Geen koffie of thee op de kamer. Ook niet in een lounge. Het ontbijt is redelijk goed. Vermijdt het restaurant voor avondeten! Het eten is idioot duur voor de middelmatigheid die je krijgt. Te armzalig en te zout voor woorden. Personeel van de hotelbalie is uitstekend, het personeel van het restaurant is compleet onder de maat.

Het hotel voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen

De ligging is zeer mooi

Cons:

Het avondeten en ontbijt in buffetvorm waren echt niet goed. De kamer was ok maar het uitzicht viel tegen

Schöne Lage des Hotels, immer wieder gerne.
Pros:

Nettes Personal, sauberes Zimmer.
Es war nicht unser erstes Mal im Hotel, deswegen war es klar, dass wir zufrieden sein mussten.

Cons:

Wir haben ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss bekommen (Zimmer #33). Der "Balkon" ging direkt auf die Straße. Da das Hotel auf einem Hügel ist, ist die Straße nicht durchbefahrbar.
Trotzdem: Erdgeschosszimmer mögen wir nicht, aber für eine Nacht war es nicht so schlimm.

An unpretentious delight!
Pros:

Lovely dining rooms, indoor and open but covered. Good bar, lovely bedrooms superb outdoor terrace with views over the Rhine. Good parking, excellent outdoor terrace of hours vending including wine and beer. Great security on rooms and hotel.
The staff were terrific, and the food was remarkably good.
