Pros:

Misleading booking and refund refused despite the hotel's own error
I booked a Twin Room (2 single beds) through Booking.com for a stay from July 23 to 25, 2026, explicitly selecting that option — the listing offered a choice between "1 double bed" or "2 single beds," and I chose the latter.
Payment was non-refundable (no full or partial cancellation option was offered), meaning I committed to this booking trusting exactly what the hotel itself displayed.
Upon arrival, no twin room with 2 single beds was available. Traveling with another man, sharing a double bed was obviously not an option. I immediately requested a refund, explaining that the hotel could not provide what had been sold and confirmed at the time of booking.
The hotel refused any refund, claiming a double bed "cannot be split into two" — an absurd justification, since that limitation already existed before my reservation. If this configuration was impossible, the "2 single beds" option should never have appeared as available on Booking.com in the first place.
In short: Hotel MARISA took payment for a service it knew it could not provide, then refused to take responsibility for its own mistake.
I strongly advise against booking this hotel until this misleading practice is corrected

Excellent Staff and Location. Bad management
Pros:

- Le staff était d'une disponibilité et d'une gentillesse exceptionnels autant à la réception qu'au petit déjeuner.
Mention spéciale à Mahmut dont nous nous souviendrons toujours.car il nous aidé et toujours bien conseillé . C'est d'ailleurs à cause du staff que je donne un 7 . Les 7 points sont pour le staff ,
Et 0 points pour les managers de l'hôtel.
- La localisation était excellente à quelques minutes de marche d'une station de tram et du métro Veniziler.

- Nous avons pu faire la majorité des sites historiques à pied. Tout était proche pour ceux qui aiment marcher. Toutefois certains sites sur la rive asiatique nécessitent l'utilisation de transports en communs

Cons:

- Le soi-disant jardin (mentionné dans la description de l'hôtel)n'est en fait pas un jardin. C'est le.restaurant de l'hôtel,.avec du gazon artificiel et à ma grande surprise nous n'avions pas le droit d'y accéder en tant que locataire de l'hôte à moins d'y consommer des choses payantes.
Aussi les photos du faux jardin ne reflètent pas la réalité.
- À notre grande surprise la piscine extérieure et la terrasse étaient fermées à notre arrivée alors que cela n'était nullement mentionné lors de la réservation. Donc nous nous sommes retrouvés dans Jardin, sans piscine et sans terrasse.
Suite à notre réclamation (et probablement celle d'autres personnes) la piscine a été ouverte , mais pour nous c'était trop tard car nous avions dû modifier tout notre planning.

- les horaires du sauna mentionnés sur Booking ne sont pas les même sur place il y avait une heure de moins le matin et une autre heure de moins le soir.
Le bain à vapeur était hors service chose qui n'avait pas été précisé dans la description des services de l'hôtel.

- Ben que la literie de l'hôte est hyper confortable, nous avons eu droit à des draps et des serviettes déchirés et avec des trous, chose indigne d'une hôtel 4*..

Malgré toutes mes réclamations la direction de l'hôtel n'a a aucun moment daigné discuter avec moi ou s'excuser.
Le geste commercial est semble -t-il une notion non connue en Turquie.

Décevant mais proche des lieux touristiques

Le personnel est gentil, l'emplacement proche du métro et du tramway

Cons:

Le petit-déjeuner est très moyen niveau qualité et diversification, de plus si à 10h vous n'avez pas finit, ils éteignent les lumières.

La porte de notre chambre était cassée à notre arrivée et le rideau était déraillé. La salle de bain présente de la moisissure. Les lits n’étaient pas refaits chaque jour, juste le drap plié au bord.

La wifi est catastrophique, que ce soit dans la chambre ou a la piscine.

L’espace spa est en mauvais état. Le hammam ne fonctionnait pas, il n’y a pas de jacuzzi et la piscine intérieure était très froide.

Le dernier jour, un groupe d’une trentaine de personnes a occupé la piscine ( match de volley, sauts,etc ) avec de la musique très forte, rendant impossible tout moment de détente. C’est regrettable qu’aucune solution n’ait été mise en place pour préserver le calme des autres clients

Very old deco room carpet dirty and stain. Toilet seat loose . I checked in Ac was not working. I call reception he was bit rude . Saying was working before. Then I went at reception ask why still not working. He saying you change the warm setting . I said no. Your staff switched on .. after 15mins
Still not working. I call ask can you change the room . He said no. I’m sending engineer . He came open top cover pipe was off & dirty filter
He fix it and wash filter with water . Start working.
This hotel need upgrading all furniture & toilets .
I will never stay on this hotel.
