Staff were very friendly and helpful
Nothing much lots of stairs if you’re unfit
Lovely location
Food not always the best
Gardens
Food very basic not enough choice
The breakfast was very nice, didn't have dinner as the dining room looked very quiet.
We were in room 14, top attic room and it was really hot in that room. Even with a fan the heat was horrendous and had difficulty in sleeping. Avoid room 14 if its hot weather and 3 flights of stairs.
The whole experience was so brilliant, we stayed another night.
Nothing
Beautiful location and building. The staff went out of their way to arrange group tables for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was fabulous.
Dinner was excellent.
A beautiful place set in gorgeous location Stafford extremely friendly rooms are very comfortable and clean. Couldn’t have asked for more. and the food was excellent.
Nothing
Friendly staff, location, breakfast
Drinks seemed over priced compared with other bars in the area
Friendly staff. Very comfortable. Superb food. Everything you need; bar, comfy lounge areas and gardens. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing to dislike
Quality and lovely crew
Lovely and relaxing country hotel with comfy beds and lovely food
Nothing to dislike at all
Check in and out was easy.
Everywhere in the hotel was very clean and tidy and the dining room was bright and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was exceptional and the chap (apologies, did not remember his name) who served us was very friendly, organised and efficient.
The bedroom had a good view and it was nice to watch the sheep eating grass nearby.
We had a standard room and the bedroom and double bed was small.
It would have been good if there had been enough room to have had another armchair in the bedroom.
The bed was uncomfortable.
Think the room was expensive for what it was.
the room was lovely, really stylish and comfortable, breakfast really nice and staff couldn't do enough. There was a large group of us and the staff made sure we were sitting together at breakfast and at evening meal, very accomodating
couldn't fault the stay at all.
Lovely old homely building
All nice
Perfectly located
Very charming & rustic
Room was lovely however it was the Deluxe Suite we stayed. Staff were very nice, polite and helpful. Beautiful garden well kept and some beautiful flowers.
The menu doesn't meet the standard of the facility. Burger and chips. Fish and chips. We were half way through our starter shared platter of bread, hummus, balsamic vinegar, herb butter and our main meals came. They came back 10 minutes later and the food was overcooked. I had chicken breast with mash and you had to pay a supplement for the vegetables.
