Nice bedroom. bathroom/ staircase needs modernising
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly

Cons:

The bathroom was very old and the water was scalding!!! Making having a shower or a wash dangerous. You couldn’t get a mix of cold and hot water in the shower. Also the stairs were very rickerty and quite dangerous

Lovely place and we will return in cooler months.
Pros:

We’ve stayed here a few times. It’s a beautiful old hotel in an idillic spot. We had a small room in the attic with leaded windows and a pretty view of the church. The breakfast was excellent and service great. The walk down to the waterfall was beautiful too, I’d recommend hiking boots.

Cons:

Our room was really hot and did not cool down over night with the window open and the fan on. I would choose a room not so small and high up in future.

The breakfast was very nice, didn't have dinner as the dining room looked very quiet.

Cons:

We were in room 14, top attic room and it was really hot in that room. Even with a fan the heat was horrendous and had difficulty in sleeping. Avoid room 14 if its hot weather and 3 flights of stairs.
